Message/ We must Have Faith in Faith

Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Message: We pray in the name of Jesus for all people to renew their relationship with The Lord. These are the days days that test the soul. Our economic systems as we know them have failed us world wide.

Jesus is so aware of our condition. We must continue to Praise God and Thank God in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are people who are losing everything while others get rich and fat for being greedy.

There are children starving and sick without food nor health care. Businesses are beginning to fell the pain of the people and the environment.

People are losing the faith that they had. Hope seems to be gone or missing from the average vocabulary. Yet, what are the people of faith to do?

We need to increase our hope and faith in the Lord more-so today than yesterday. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead for times like these when all appears to be lost. Jesus is coming back. Therefore, we must wait on His return to set all things right. Praise God for The Joy of Jesus and His return. God Bless you as we battle the storms of a lost world. Give to the Joy of Jesus Today.

Prayer: God, bless all the people who receive this message in the name of Jesus. We pray for all people to increase their faith. Glory to God in the highest. Goodwill and Peace on Earth in Jesus name we pray.

Faith in The Joy of Jesus: What the Bible Says About Faith

Finding out what the Bible says about faith is very important. Why? A few reasons come to mind: First, faith is often defined in a number of different and conflicting ways by religious persons. If we want to know how God defines faith we will have to go to the Bible. God's definition of faith takes precedence over man's definition of faith. Second, there are all kinds of faith in the world -- even the demons have faith (James 2:19) -- but only one faith is true. If we want to have true faith (2 Timothy 1:5), we will have to let God tell us what true faith is. Third, faith is necessary to please God (Hebrews 11:6). If we want to please God we need to know about the faith that pleases God. Fourth, faith is necessary for salvation (Ephesians 2:8). If we want to be saved we need to know about the faith that saves. Fifth, there are many people who do not have faith (John 6:64) -- at one point even Jesus' own family did not believe in Him (John 7:5) -- and God destroys people who do not have faith (Jude 5). If we don't want God to destroy us, if we don't want to die in our sins (John 8:24), we must believe. Finally, there are those who have faith but they are letting their faith slip away (2 Timothy 2:18). If we don't want evil forces to overthrow our faith we need to know how to keep our faith strong.

This brief article is not intended to be an exhaustive study of each occurrence of the word faith in the Bible. Many verses in both the Old and New Testaments could be used to illustrate each point below but only a few have been chosen. This study is confined to the New Testament. The references listed below are examples of the verb form of faith (Greek pisteuo, usually translated, believe), and the noun form of faith (Greek pistis, usually translated, faith). I would suggest that you take time to look up each reference listed below that is not quoted for further study on each point. You may also want to use your Bible Concordance to find other examples of the word faith. No matter what verse you locate on the faith of man, you will find that it falls nicely into one of the categories below. Let us now examine what the Bible says about faith so that we can have the faith that God wants us to have.

OBJECT OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the object of faith (who or what is believed in) is God and His Son Jesus Christ. There are many persons, places and things that we could put our faith in during our lifetime, but we must prioritize our life, and put our faith in God and Jesus Christ above all else. Jesus said: "Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me" (John 14:1). We are not to put our faith in that which is false (Matthew 24:23,26). Unless our faith is in God and His Son, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: Mark 11:22; Acts 14:23; 19:4; 20:21; Galatians 2:16; 2 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 6:1; 11:6; 1 Peter 1:21; 1 John 3:23; 5:1,5,10.

SUBJECT OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the subject of faith (who or what has faith ) is man himself. Man is the only creature of all of God's creation who can believe. What flower ever believed? What rock ever believed? What animal ever believed? Take a look at the great men and women of faith in the Old and New Testaments and see what they accomplished "by faith." For Further Study: Hebrews 11:1-40.

SUBSTANCE OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the substance of faith (what faith is) is belief; a complete trust, assurance or confidence. There is no fear (Mark 5:36; Luke 8:50) or doubt (Mark 11:23-24) in faith. The writer of Hebrews wrote: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Unless our faith is complete trust, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: Mark 9:23-24; John 6:69; Acts 17:31; 27:25; 2 Timothy 1:12.

PROOF OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the proof of faith (what faith is based on) is evidence. Faith is based upon strong, clear, logical, true, historical evidence. Faith is not guesswork. Faith is not a blind leap in the dark. Faith is not grounded in subjective feelings. God provides the objective, rational evidence for belief; man provides the belief based on that evidence. The Bible does not teach that God gives man his faith. John wrote: "but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ..." (John 20:31). Paul wrote: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Unless our faith is based upon sound evidence from God's word, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: Mark 1:15; 16:15-16; Luke 8:12-13; 24:25; John 4:39-42; 5:46-47; 8:30,46; 9:35-38; 17:20; 19:35; 20:24-31; Acts 4:4; 8:12-13; 9:41-42; 11:19-21; 13:12; 14:1; 15:7; 17:11-12; 18:8; 24:14; 26:27; Romans 10:8-21; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; 3:5; 15:1-2,11,14,17; Ephesians 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Thessalonians 1:10; 2:11-13; 1 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 5:13.

FRUIT OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the fruit of faith (what faith produces) is active obedience to God's word. The Bible does not teach that man is saved by faith only. Faith is not just a mental thought; it is a mental thought that leads a person to act, to work, to obey. The outward acts of faith can be seen (Matthew 9:2). Faith takes steps in obedience (Romans 4:12). Unless our faith produces active obedience to God's word, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: Mark 16:16; Acts 11:21; 19:18-19; Romans 16:26; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 5:6; 1 Thessalonians 1:3; 2 Thessalonians 1:11; Titus 3:8; James 2:14-26; Revelation 2:19.

CONSEQUENCES OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the consequences of faith (what faith leads to) are enormous. First, faith leads to unity. Luke records: "And all that believed were together, and had all things common" (Acts 2:44). Second, faith leads to proclaiming the gospel. Paul said: "But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak" (2 Corinthians 4:13). Third, faith leads to persecution. Paul wrote: "because to you if hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for in his behalf" (Philippians 1:29). Unless our faith leads to unity, proclamation and persecution, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: John 12:42-43; 17:20-21; Acts 4:32; 22:19.

REWARD OF FAITH. The Bible teaches that the reward of faith (what faith accomplishes) is eternal life. Our faith results in eternal life (salvation) given to us by God. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Unless our faith accomplishes eternal life, we do not have the right kind of faith. For Further Study: John 3:14-16,36; 5:24; 6:40,47; Acts 10:43; 13:39,48; 16:31; 26:18; Romans 1:16; 3:28,30; 5:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:21; Galatians 3:24; 1 Timothy 1:16; Hebrews 6:11-12; 1 Peter 1:5-9.

"Do you now believe?" Jesus asks (John 16:31). Now that you know more of what the Bible says about faith what do you plan to do? Will you begin to put more faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ? Will you put away any fear or doubt that would keep you from serving God with a sincere faith? Will you spend more time with the Bible evidence that God has provided in order to build a stronger faith? Will you begin to produce more fruits of faith in your life by your obedience to God's word? Will you be ready to accept the enormous consequences of your faith, difficult as they may be? If the answer to these questions is yes, then the Lord has promised you a great reward for your faith, eternal life.

Praise God with The Joy of Jesus Today

Psalm 145
A psalm of praise. Of David.
1 [a] I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.

4 One generation will commend your works to another;
they will tell of your mighty acts.

5 They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and I will meditate on your wonderful works. [b]

6 They will tell of the power of your awesome works,
and I will proclaim your great deeds.

7 They will celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.

9 The LORD is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.

10 All you have made will praise you, O LORD;
your saints will extol you.

11 They will tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,

12 so that all men may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is faithful to all his promises
and loving toward all he has made. [c]

14 The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.

16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and loving toward all he has made.

18 The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.

19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.

20 The LORD watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

Convocation: Pray for The Environment

Our planet is in need of healing in a number of different fronts, particularly the environment. The recent oil leak in The Gulf of Mexico adversely impacts so many people. We pray for the damage to our ecosystem. Jobs will be lost. Families will be hurt and there is no solution in sight. We pray in the name of Jesus for a resolution to this and all problems we may face to the joy of Jesus.

Scripture: Genesis 1
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.

11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

Bible Study with The Joy of Jesus

Becoming a Child of God
Galatians 3:26-27 (KJV) says, "For you are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." All of us want to be children of God, but it is our faith in Christ that leads us to become children of God. This verse also tells us how our faith leads us to be children of God. It says, "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." The word for as used in this scripture is a preposition, which means for the purpose of or in order to be. Therefore, we are baptized for the purpose of or in order to be God's children.

To be a child of God and part of His family, we must be born into His family. Our Lord said in John 3:3, "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven." Then He tells us how being born again takes place in John 3:5, "Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." When one is "born again" by being baptized into Christ he becomes a child of God. The blood of Christ will only forgive the sins of those who are "born of water and the Spirit" when they are baptized for that reason.

We might ask the question, "If I had to prove that I was a child of God in order to get into Heaven, could I do it?" Only those who are God's children will inherit Heaven. In 1 Peter 1:4 we read "To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you." Are you eligible for that inheritance? Have you become a child of God by being baptized into Christ? If you haven't then you have no inheritance in Heaven. You will inherit eternal punishment. Why would anyone in their right mind not want to be a child of God?

Has your faith led you to be baptized, so that you can become a child of God? If not then you are not a child of God; you belong to Satan. To be a child of God, our faith must be a faith that will accept and do all that the Lord tells us to do. It must be an obedient faith, because God says in James 2:17,20 & 24, "Thus also faith, by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." "But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?" "You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." We are not saved by the salvation-robbing doctrine of "faith only". If our faith is not one of action, it is a dead faith. A dead faith will do you no good on the Day of Judgment. This is the only place in the Bible that speaks of "faith only" and here the false doctrine of "faith only" is condemned. It also refers to one who believes in "faith only" as "O foolish man" because he will lose his soul in eternity.

Are you a child of God? Have you been baptized into Christ so you can be a child of God? As Hebrews 2:3 says, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" We know there is no escape. Please don't neglect your salvation.

Let us Rejoice in The Lord The Rev. Dr. James A. Lee

Sermon: To rejoice in The Lord is What we must do. The Goodness of God is worthy of our praise. We thank God and Praise God for all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. There are many problems we face today that are too overwhelming for man to resolve. God gave us Jesus to save us from sin. Jesus died on the cross, and was raised from the grave so that we who believe in Him shall have everlasting life. This is the reason for our joy. Let us rejoice in The Lord of our salvation. We Praise God today for all of the joy that is found in Christ Jesus we pray. A-men...

Scripture:
1 Peter 1
1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To God's elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, 2who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Praise to God for a Living Hope
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

Be Holy
13Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."[a]
17Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. 18For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

22Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.[b] 23For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 24For,
"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
25but the word of the Lord stands forever."[c] And this is the word that was preached to you.

Bless The Lord Today and be Blessed

Psalm 103
1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Faith in The Joy of Jesus Today!

Faith is more than a theoretical belief in Christ; it is a principle of action. To have faith in Christ is to be willing to act on your belief in Him.

Faith in Christ leads you to want to change your life for the better. As your faith increases, you will desire to repent of your sins. In other words, you will want to change those thoughts and actions that are not in harmony with the teachings that Heavenly Father has revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ.

As you obey Heavenly Father, He blesses you. He gives you inner strength and determination to meet life's challenges and helps you change the desires of your heart. Through your faith in Jesus Christ, you can be healed, both physically and spiritually.

Heavenly Father promises that when you repent and change your life, He will forgive your sins and bless you. Faith in Jesus Christ and repentance lead to baptism in His Church.

Three Reasons for The Joy of Jesus Church

What are the three things in life that are important regarding your heart and soul? There are so many issues that tear at our attention. We are living in a world where the media bombards us with millions of messages that have nothing to do with ones soul. Jesus offers a new life. Faith, Hope and Love are three important steps toward heaven.

We are to wrap ourselves in Hope, Faith and Love of Jesus Christ. God so loved the world that he gave us Jesus, in him we find that our faith will result in eternal life.

The Bible is so rich in love. Jesus gave His life on the cross for our sins. God raised Him on the third day with all power, honor and glory. We thank God in Christ Jesus until his return.

Meanwhile, what are we to do until the return of Jesus? We are to wrap our ourselves in The joy of Jesus with Faith, hope and love, We are to love Jesus because He first loved us. Praise god for all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus and to His absolute Joy.

Faith is The Joy of Jesus Rev. Dr. James A. Lee

Faith:
Do you believe in seeing is believing? If I didn't see it: It never happened. This is the way a great number of people live their life. We lean and perceive things through ones senses.

Yet, the most important factor of life has not been seen at all.

We need to go one step beyound to experience the full joy of Jesus in order to take the next faze of life. Jesus preached a pure message of faith. If we had the faith of a very small seed, it would grow into a huge and beautiful tree.

Faith can move mountains. It is a deep belief in The Creator of all the universe and His son. God gave us Jesus and the world rejected Him because of what He represents. To stand tall for love, grace and peace is not what those in power care about in life.

Our faith is in Christ Jesus, who turned water into wine, walk on the water and heal people. Jesus raised folk from the dead.

Our faith tells us that Jesus was betrayed, beaten, and crucified for our transgressions. Move Over, the Power of God raised Him from the dead and He will return with all power, honor and glory.

Our faith in Christ Jesus is The Joy of Jesus. We too can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthen us from day to day. Our faith in Him is the key to all the universe of the great unseen. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Sermon: The Reason for Our Joy

Scripture:-- 1 Peter 1 -- Next Chapter >
1.Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2.Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4.To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5.Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6.Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7.That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Sermon: The reason for anything is generally why people do and have the things in life that defines ones station in the universe. Our message today is the reason to have joy and why it is important to seek it as well.

The word of God comes from St. Peter. It is the reason for pure joy. God has a plan, that before He created the universe He thought about you and I and our joy. Jesus would come into the world and save us from our sins. Our salvation is based upon our faith in Jesus. This faith is more precious that the finest of gold. It is a promise that God made to you and I.

Moreover, we may be experiencing temptations to divert out attention from our incredible gift from God, we stay focused on the gift of God. In this we rejoice. We find joy in knowing that God is good and loves us in spite of any problems we may face today.

Joy is something that comes from the soul. It is found deep in ones heart. We sing. We jump. We shout of the joy that mo one can take away from us. Joy is a gift from God in Christ Jesus.

The cross is a symbol of pain, suffering and death. Jesus overcame the cross to establish eternal life for all who believe in His name. This is the reason for our joy.

Prayer: Praise God the father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. We Praise God for His Joy in Christ Jesus. We ask in the name of Jesus that all people may experience such Joy in The Lord. We ask for peace, hope and love rule in our lives. Glory to God in the Highest in Jesus name we pray. A-men

Let us Pray

Scripture 2 Thessalonians 3
Request for Prayer
1Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. 2And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. 3But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 4We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

Sermon: Our message today is one of prayer. The two major components of life as a person of faith is Prayer and The Word of God. We are faced with interesting challenges around the world and at home as well. The pressures to do what is right, just and fair is an open question.

What should we be doing during these days of concern? Our scripture is clear. We are to pray for the Word of God to run swiftly and be glorified. We are to look out for evil.God is faithful. He will protect you. God will direct your heart in the patience of Christ Jesus.

Let us pray for all people. Let us pray for all in need around the world. Let us pray for The Word of God in Christ Jesus. Let us pray thank God will direct our hearts. The question as to why is in order?

Jesus was born to save the world. He was beaten, shed his blood, and died on the cross for all who believe. Jesus was raised from the grave and sits in heaven with God the Father. Jesus will return with all: Power, Glory and Honor. We Thank God and Praise God for all in Christ Jesus. Let us pray. A-men

What must we have to Live?

Faith, Hope, and Love
And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

Sermon: Our question today is one for now and the future. The past is already clear and done. We must move forward to our higher calling. The scripture shows us the way, and is a lamp unto our feet. Faith, hope and love abide in us as it is in Christ Jesus.

The greatest of faith , hope and love is love. The real question is why? We are faced with a world for all practical purposes;that has lost all relevance. As we bare witness, the Pope was tackled right before Christmas Mass? People are sick and suffering as no one speaks out nor cares. Yet, our scriptures does ring out, as a bright light in a very dark place. That Love is Great!

Do you ever wonder about Love? Have you ever asked yourself what is love, do I have love or to fall in love? Love makes the world go round. Love is the power beyound power. God is Love.

The love that God has and is clearly is found in Christ Jesus. He was born to save us from sin. Jesus gave His life on a bloody cross for our sins. God raised Jesus from the grave and gave Him All Power, Honor and Glory. Jesus is coming back for a New Zion.

Love my friend is God. His grace is found in Christ Jesus: The answer to all of our questions. Our faith, love and hope is in the Christ. Sure these are the darkest day ever seen by man. However the greatest gift is found in Jesus. He is our hope. His peace passes all understanding. His grace is simply amazing.

We will will be changed in a twinkling of an eye. God love us. We will see Him as He is in perfect Love. Jesus said if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. How shall we live. We shall live in Christ Jesus where peace, and love, and hope abide by faith in Him. Let us pray...Praise god in His Full Glory A-men.

Scripture: Philippians 4:18-20 (King James Version)

18But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen

Convocation: We live in the most interesting times. The Lord is good yet, the works of evil and corruption are abound. People are being tried in all directions. In some cases whole families have died at the hands of their own. Families are falling apart. Our religious leaders are silent.

God is still on the throne. We of the faith and light must stand strong with the Lord. God is Great and God is Good, Let us Thank Him for Our Food. Jesus is the bread of life my friend. Let us not get twisted in the winds of trouble, Keep the faith, walk in the glorious light of The Lord of Our Salvation.

The time is near, we are closer today than yesterday. Our God will supply all of our needs in the riches found in Christ Jesus. God is Great and God is Good. Christ Jesus is The Answer My Friend. We Pray for us all and pray for me...

Sermon: We need more Prayer

Glory to Good in the highest all in Christ Jesus and The Holy Spirit of God Forever in the Name of Jesus.
We need more prayer today. The question is why? There is so much evil in the world that we must get closer to God to protect our souls. Jesus was born to take away the sins of the world. Jesus died on the cross to give us our salvation to live with He and God for ever. God raised him on the third day, all to the Glory of God. This is what our faith. Glory to God in The Highest. We thank Thee Lord for such a wonderful gift in Christ Jesus.

We need more prayer to acknowledge this all important gift of our salvation that can overcome all the evils of this world. The key is The Lords Prayer:

Matthew chapter 6 verse 13

13. And lead us not into temptation Some people have split this petition into two. This is wrong: for the nature of the subject makes it manifest, that it is one and the same petition. The connection of the words also shows it: for the word but, which is placed between, connects the two clauses together, as Augustine judiciously explains. The sentence ought to be resolved thus, That we may not be led into temptation, deliver us from evil The meaning is: “We are conscious Of our own weakness, and desire to enjoy the protection of God, that we may remain impregnable against all the assaults of Satan.” We showed from the former petition, that no man can be reckoned a Christian, who does not acknowledge himself to be a sinner; and in the same manner, we conclude from this petition, that we have no strength for living a holy life, except so far as we obtain it from God. Whoever implores the assistance of God to overcome temptations, acknowledges that, unless God deliver him, he will be constantly falling. 441 “Afin qu'i! ne trebusche pas a chacun coup;” — “that he may not reel at every blow.”
The word temptation is often used generally for any kind of trial. In this sense God is said to have tempted Abraham, (Genesis 22:1 ,) when he tried his faith. We are tempted both by adversity and by prosperity: because each of them is an occasion of bringing to light feelings which were formerly concealed. But here it denotes inward temptation, which may be fitly called the scourge of the devil, for exciting our lust. It would be foolish to ask, that God would keep us free from every thing which makes trial of our faith. All wicked emotions, which excite us to sin, are included under the name of temptation Though it is not impossible that we may feel such pricks in our minds, (for, during the whole course of our life, we have a constant warfare with the flesh,) yet we ask that the Lord would not cause us to be thrown down, or suffer us to be overwhelmed, by temptations
In order to express this truth more clearly, that we are liable to constant stumbling and ruinous falls, if God does not uphold us with his hand, Christ used this form of expression, (μὴ εἰσενέγκὟς,) Lead us not into temptation: or, as some render it, Bring us not into temptation It is certainly true, that “every man is tempted,” as the Apostle James says, (1:14 ) “by his own lust:” yet, as God not only gives us up to the will of Satan, to kindle the flame of lust, but employs him as the agent of his wrath, when he chooses to drive men headlong to destruction, he may be also said, in a way peculiar to himself, to lead them into temptation In the same sense, “an evil spirit from the Lord” is said to have “seized or troubled Saul,” (1 Samuel 16:14 :) and there are many passages of Scripture to the same purpose. And yet we will not therefore say, that God is the author of evil: because, by giving men over to a reprobate mind,” (Romans 1:28 ,) he does not exercise a confused tyranny, but executes his just, though secret 442 “Combien que la raison nous en soit incognue;” — “though the reason of them may be unknown to us.” judgments.
Deliver us from evil The word evil (πονηροῦ) may either be taken in the neuter gender, as signifying the evil thing, or in the masculine gender, as signifying the evil one Chrysostom refers it to the Devil, who is the contriver of every thing evil, and, as the deadly enemy of our salvation, is continually fighting against us. 443 Chrysostom's words are: — Πονηρὸν ἐνταῦθα τὸν διάζολον καλεῖ Κατ ᾿ ἐξοχὴν δὲ οἱτος ἐκεῖνος καλεῖται διὰ τὴν ὑπερζολὴν τὢς κακίας, καὶ ἐπειδὰν μηδὲν παρ ᾿ ἡμῶν ἀδικηθεὶς ἄσπονδον πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἔχει τὸυ πόλεμον. “He calls the Devil, in this place, THE EVIL ONE. He is, by way of eminence, so called, on account of his superlative wickedness, and because, though he has received no injury from us, he carries on against us an implacable war.” — Ed. But it may, with equal propriety, be explained as referring to sin There is no necessity for raising a debate on this point: for the meaning remains nearly the same, that we are in danger from the devil and from sin, if the Lord does not protect and deliver us.
For thine is the kingdom It is surprising that this clause, which agrees so well with the rest of the prayer, has been left out by the Latins: 444 That part of the Lord's Prayer, which we commonly call the conclusion, is not found in the Gospel by Luke, and its genuineness has been questioned. None of the Latin copies (as Calvin mentions) have it: but even those who have most zealously maintained that it is spurious, admit that it exists in the greater number of the Greek manuscripts. Erasmus, Grotius, Witsius, Griesbach, Matthaei, and Scholz, may be consulted by those who wish to examine the question for themselves, and to hear all that has been said on both sides. Any thing like the summing up of the argument here would exceed the limits of a note. — Ed.
for it was not added merely for the purpose of kindling our hearts to seek the glory of God, and of reminding us what ought to be the object of our prayers; but likewise to teach us, that our prayers, which are here dictated to us, are founded on God alone, that we may not rely on our own merits.

Do continue to pray. Bless this ministry and all our followers. Let us continue to grow and bless others, we pray for Gods' Will for our families. We ASK this in Jesus name....

Scripture for Life: Healing

Our Scripture of Life is designed to bring enlightenment to the heart, mind and soul. We encourage you to read, pray and meditate on these words of eternal life. Pray ye the Holy Spirit will lead ,guide and direct your life in the faith. God Bless you for your reading and following this new form of ministry online, thank you.

Three Prophets and Jesus’ Healings

First Isaiah

Isaiah gave us the prophecy in present tense. He said we are healed with His stripes. In other words, when Isaiah saw the events of Isaiah 53 unfolding, he saw it in present time to himself.

This is even more remarkable since these events would not occur for hundreds of years in the future. Nevertheless, Isaiah saw prophetic events that were so real to him they were recorded by him as happening then.

Isa 53:5
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (KJV)

When the Apostle Peter came on the scene, he remembered Isaiah’s prophecy. He remembered that Isaiah saw it present to himself. But Peter knew that what Isaiah saw was still in existence.

Then Peter

1 Pet 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV)

Sermon: The Spirit of The Lord

Prayer: O Mighty God,

We pray for all people in all places. God Bless us all. We ask for prayer partners to save this world in the names of Jesus. Bless this message with The Holy Spirit. In Jesus name, we give you all the praise, honor and glory....

Sermon: We thank God and praise God for you with perfect love, peace and joy of Jesus in our hearts. This message is to move you to become a prayer partner with us to save the world. The Holy Spirit has been good to us in that we have grown so much in a short period of time, all to the Glory of god. Let us turn quickly to our scripture:

Luke 4:14-21 (New International Version)

Jesus Rejected at Nazareth
14Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
16He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. 17The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
19to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."[a]

20Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, 21and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

Footnotes:
a.Luke 4:19 Isaiah 61:1,2

The Lord clearly speaks to us through His word. The Spirit is upon us to do the work of the Lord. My friend, we must pray. Jesus was born and died on the cross and rose on the third day to save the world. God gave us The Holy Spirit to pray in this magnificent light. We are the light of the world. Pray with us in Jesus name for the world to be saved from darkness. Bless in and all your household as we pray in Jesus name A-MEN.

What is a Prayer Partner?

The Joy of Jesus is working hard to find prayer partners to save the world. This sounds nearly impossible, yet our faith tell us we can do all things through Christ Jesus. The real question is ,what is a prayer partner? The following may add some light on this subject, as we pray for you, to pray with us:

Touching Heaven, Changing Earth!

Did you know through prayer, it literally can change everything in the world. There are two types of prayers and those that pray. There are passive prayers and aggressive prayers. Not familiar with the two? Aggressive prayer seeks His presence and His will to be done in all things. Does not sound aggressive? It is and it works. God knows what is best and what is needed. Aggressive prayer builds us in faith and works in the missions field, changing lives and turning night into day.

We see, hear, speak because of the condition of our hearts and that condition will either produce results or not based on what we are focused on. Want to receive God's Blessing? Do things God's way and you will get things in His results and you are blessed. Scripture tells us that what we give we will receive, pressed down and shaken up. Each of us that has His Spirit have been given freely and by us learning how to release His Spirit on problems, needs and situations turns everything around as long as we are seeking for His will to be done.

The norm in prayer and in missions is for those churches that do send missionaries to the field is to pray for the missionaries. Actually the truth is we often do not pray for missionaries and wonder why they are not as effective as they could be. How can we make it better? First understand His way of getting things done. If the five fold gift ministry is present, you will find His presence. Secondly, in adopting the people and the missionary it becomes personal to us. Biblically, God adopt us and if we are like Him we should adopt each other and and the unreached. It is mostly about a condition of the heart to do so or not. But if we want to end the nonsense, starvation, the very work of the devil we will understand His ways in His covenant provision and do them.

Who should pray? A better question is who wants God's blessing because they are one in the same? Did you know that if you are praying for someone in the field and for those they are trying to reach and one enters the kingdom of God you the person in prayer receives an equal reward as those in the field. Do things God's way, you get His result and provision. Do things our way and it usually does not work and we end up with little results. Here is the the key to all His blessings, "the body working in love, unity and forgiveness." It brings His love, provision and power to get the job done.

Want your church to grow, your neighborhoods change and go from problems to solutions? Do it God's way, it works every time, but it is up to us to want to do it His way. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teachings and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47 It works every time and you have His guarantee on it. His word and what He died for so things could get done His way, with His result.

The Prayer Partner is one of the most important people in helping establish the Kingdom of God here on earth, as they are the backbone of any ministry. Prayer partners pull down the strongholds so those sent to the mission field can accomplish what they are called to accomplish. Prayer connects the throne room of heaven to earth and a prayer partner is a partnership with Him and those in the mission field. It is the Prayer Partner that prays and intercedes for people on a local, national and on a global basis as they work to pull down the strongholds, praying for His presence, His will to be done in people(s) lives or areas, to resolve needs, and open new areas of evangelism. Prayer is key as it unlocks His will and presence because His house is a house of prayer. Those that dwell with Him will pray and seek His presence.

Prayer is a difficult job to do and stay focused on and we recognize that, but we also know that prayer is the first step to getting things turned around. If we are going to do something about starvation, crime, etc., then we as His people need to understand His ways, covenants and statutes so we can dwell with Him and He with us so we can be effective in prayer. Christians need to learn how to get serious about prayer and what prayer can do for us. We all need more of Jesus and we need to remember to invite Him in everything that we do.

The Prayer Partner is instrumental in putting an end to disease, starvation, crime, abuses and addictions, and can even put an end to war. The focus of the Prayer Partner is one of intercession and prayer. Prayer helps establish the new believer and maintains the worker in the field, Gal. 4:19. It is through prayer that we can be victorious as we reach out to a hurting world in need.

Prayer in Agreement

Prayer brings His presence with His presence His love and provision to deal with all needs in each of us in body, soul and spirit. Think for a moment of what prayer can do if we are in agreement. If any two agree and touch anything it will be done. It can change churches and communities. Everyone knows the problems that exist in most communities and we have been given the power of God to deal with all things in local communities in prayer, not just in the local church but connecting with as many as 1 million people in prayer at any given moment globally to be in agreement with as long as we seek His presence and His will done in peoples lives. Often times we do not reach out to others in need because we are not sure. However, if we are connected to 1 million in prayer for us and those we reach out to it will change lives dramatically.

The concept is simple. As we go out daily and do what we do at work or school we always hear of people that have problems or needs. All we have to ask if they would like us to pray for them and seek God's will for them. All you need to do is let us know the need by putting it on the prayer board and you will be connected to ministers and believers globally that will be praying for that person and you for His will to be done in both. THAT IS THE POWER OF GOD ON EARTH! YOU WILL SEE MIRACLES. As you see the results of prayer in changed lives, we encourage you to look on the board and pray for others seeking God's will for each one, releasing His Spirit on each person and each situation. You pray for others like yourself and others pray for you. It is how His will can be done through each of us and gives hope for us and our families. What we do for each other we do for Him. What we give we receive, pressed down and shaken together. Do you want problems to be dealt with by the hand of God? Pray and pray with others and for others in agreement. God has a way to get things done on earth, but we have to be willing to do it His way and it all starts with prayer! Working together as one body globally, those in the world will see Him and His will for them, because the body loved Him and His ways to reach all globally.

Whether you are new to prayer or not we want to work with you and help you to become everything that God has called you to do and become. Currently we are assembling a prayer package for prayer partners. A package of helps and tools designed to help you in prayer and your life and will give you a clearer understanding of how it all can come together.

We need Prayer Partners and we are looking for 1 million to pray, reaching out to 1 billion in need. If you are interested in seeing lives change and in joining a team that is making a difference, helping to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth, living by faith and not by sight, we are looking for you! The power of prayer is huge! The Time is now! Your help is needed!

Catch the Vision! Touching Heaven and Changing Earth!
