Sermon: Asking God

Prayer: Praise God in Christ Jesus that Thy word be magnified in our hearts,minds and soul to the full Glory in Christ Jesus. A-men.

Scripture: Mathew 7.
Ask, Seek, Knock
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets

Sermon: We pray that The Word of God rings deep in your heart today. Asking God is our message to you. We bare witness that The Bible states,"Ask and it will be given to you;"

There are so many needs in life. People are hunger for food, money, healing, jobs and peace. There are some people that will do anything to get what they want and need. Life's needs have forced some people to crime and murder to do what they believe they need.

We of the Christian Faith, trust God for all our needs. We ask God for all our needs. There is no need to turn to crime or drugs to do anything. We simply ASK God for our basic needs according to His word.

We pray for all people in Christ Jesus. Now is the time to ask God for what you need. The Bible says it will be given. We praise God today and thank God for all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

In closing, what God did for you and I at Calvary is more than one could ever ask. Jesus gave His life for our sins. God raised Him up on the third day. God will also return as Christ will judge the Earth of all sin and evil. We ask for the perfect will of God in Christ Jesus to Bless us all to know Gods' will and word.

Prayer: Lord we thank thee and praise today for all people. We Ask in the name of Jesus to bless us all according to Thy will and word in Christ Jesus. A-men.

Bible Study

Scripture:Mark 9:1-7 (New International Version)

Mark 9
1And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."

The Transfiguration
2After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. 4And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.
5Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." 6(He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)

7Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!"

The lessens in this particular passage are important to understanding the actual personage of Jesus. We witness Jesus, Peter, James and John go to the mountain top. Then Jesus is transfigured in shinning white. Moses and Elias also appear. A voice state " This is my beloved Son:hear him."

The main points are as follows:

1. We must follow Jesus to meet with God in prayer.

2. The prophets of old recognized Jesus as the one whom was promised.

3. We must listen to the words that Jesus says because it is the word of God that gives eternal life.

We pray that Gods' words live richly in our hearts and souls. This is a blessing for us and all that hear the Lord. In the end of our lessen there is only Jesus. This is our only hope and sense of Joy. Let this be a blessing to you as we bless others all in Christ Jesus name we pray. A-men

Scriture: For Life

The Psalms
27

The LORD Is My Light and My Salvation
A Psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes,
came upon me to eat up my flesh,
they stumbled and fell.

3 Though a host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I desired of the LORD,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD,
and to inquire in his temple.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion:
in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me;
he shall set me up upon a rock.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up
above mine enemies round about me:
therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy;
I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice:
have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face;
my heart said unto thee,
Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

9 Hide not thy face far from me;
put not thy servant away in anger:
thou hast been my help;
leave me not, neither forsake me,
O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me,
then the LORD will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O LORD,
and lead me in a plain path,
because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies:
for false witnesses are risen up against me,
and such as breathe out cruelty.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the LORD:
be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the LORD.

Sermon; Can You Wait on the Lord?

Scripture: But for who wait on the Lord will renew their strength....Isaiah 40:31

Prayer: Oh Lord thy God, Creator of all the universe,we humble ourselves unto Thee of all sin. We forgive all and pray for in Christ Jesus.
We worship You, Praise You, with all Thankfulness and gratitude in Christ Jesus. A-men

Today is one of great joy. We have learned through The Word of God, that if we wait on God, all the power we need will be ours. This is a comforting idea. At this stage in life, the problems of the world are unbearable. War, poverty, joblessness, and public health are real issues.What can we do?

The scripture says to wait on God. In other words take your time because God through Christ Jesus will restore all things in Heaven and Earth. This is a reason for tremendous Joy.

Our hope is in the Lord. We pray of course for those lost in poverty, sickness and drugs. Yet, we also pray for our business community to do better to help people live better under tough conditions. Yes, we can. Yes we can wait on the Lord.

It is God with the power. He will renew our strength. People will get faint, But those who wait on God will fly like the eagle.

In conclusion, we thank God and praise God today and forever for what he did on the cross. God gave us the gift of life eternal. Jesus gave His life for our sins. He will return with all power, glory and honor. We who wait will indeed be blessed. Our pray is for those who wait on the Lord. Can we wait on the Lord? In Jesus name we pray..A-men.
