Bible Study

Psalms 3:8 8 Salvation F28 R55 belongs to the LORD; Your blessing R56 {be} F29 upon Your people! Selah.

Here we see two particular lessens in one main selection of scripture.
1. The idea of salvation, being saves, comes only from God and by God.

2. As a result of this act of salvation, it is indeed a bless for the people.

We need both a blessing and salvation today. The Lord is the source of all salvation and blessings. Therefore we must trust in the Lord of our salvation on order to receive the blessing. The real question involved in our lessen is:
Who is The Lord? The answer is Jesus Christ is both Lord and Savior. We have provided an addition background information on this particular lessen for you to study. We pray that you with ask the Lord for pure spiritual wisdom regarding His Divine Will regarding your experience with this lessen.

Convocation: Thinking about the Lord...

Today is a wonderful day to meditate on the Lord. The question is, how does one do it? Clearly there are so many things to do today how does one find the time? The kids have to go to school, my job is doing more with less people. My bills are flying in.. The phone is ringing, the TV is on and I have not has my coffee, plus I would like to lose a pound or two.

Life is so overwhelming that the time to actual think is almost never in the plan. God is always in the plan. He is working on our salvation as we run our daily lives. God will always do His job and do it to perfection. Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow.

Let take a moment each day and think about the goodness of God in Christ Jesus. Thank God for God. Praise God for being in your life. This is indeed a blessing.Just take a quiet moment and think about what Jesus did on the cross for us to live in peace forever with him in perfect love.

Bible Study: The Meaning of Joy....

Habakkuk 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The meaning of joy can be found in this particular verse of scripture. How does one find joy today? This prayer was written over 3,000 years ago. How does it apply now? These are the questions from which we may learn from the word of God.

The key word in the passage is joy. Presently the world is in an economic recession. Jobs, housing and the cost of food is all harder to obtain. Families are so stressed to make ends meet. These are joyless days. We need joy.

Overall, the three lessons in our scriptures: 1. Trust, we must always trust in God. 2. Confidence is always placed in the Power of God. 3. Spiritual Joy in God is in Christ Jesus. Finally, rejoice in knowing that the Lord of our salvation and having faith in Christ Jesus. All of our joy is in the Lord. Jesus Christ is the joy of our salvation. This is the meaning of all joy.

Devotion

Monday is a day of serious thinking. Often, it is the first work day of the week. Actually it is Sunday which is reserved for the Lord. As we prepare for the week, we must seek Divine guidance in terms of the decisions we make in life.

The real question is what are my priorities for the week. God is constantly working each detail of the universe. The movement of each cloud and bird. The direction of the wind, the blooming of each rose, the placement of each rainbow and knowing the number of each hair on ones head. God is all knowing and all powerful.

We must place all of our trust in God. The world is in constant turmoil because of sin. However, Jesus is our answer to all sin. Jesus can make a way out of when all doors seem shut.

In conclusion, we must devote our lives to Christ Jesus. As we make our work plans for the week, let us focus on the goodness of God in nature. Think about how Jesus gave His life for our sins. Lord we humble ourselves, thank you and praise for all your divine guidance in a sin sick world of confusion.

Today is Thee Day
