Daily Bible Reading - October 13th, 2019 | American Bible Society: Deuteronomy 1:1-18: The book of Deuteronomy is presented as Moses’s last words to the generation of Israelites who are ready to enter and occupy the Promised Land. Over the next eleven days, we will be reading excerpts from Deuteronomy. Today’s reading is Moses’s first speech in which he reviews Israel’s wilderness journey from Mount Sinai to where they are now encamped in the plains of Moab.
