Daily Bible Reading - May 12th, 2019 | American Bible Society: Judges 6:1-27: After a time of peace of forty years, once again the people of Israel sin against the LORD. The people of Midian rule over them for seven years, and the Israelites cry out to the LORD for help. An angel of the LORD appears to Gideon with the message that Gideon has been chosen to rescue the Israelites from the Midianites.
