Daily Bible Reading - March 31st, 2019 | American Bible Society: Jeremiah 42:1-22: Today’s reading occurs during the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah and King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia (588 B.C.) when Judah was being invaded by the Babylonians. Those who survived the Babylonian invasion ask Jeremiah to pray for them. God’s response to Jeremiah’s prayer includes words of hope along with a warning.
