Grace - Friday, March 13, 2015 | Daily Word
AS I WELCOME DIVINE GRACE, I REAP MORE THAN I HAVE SOWN.
For every move I make toward a greater realization of God, I am rewarded—often more than I expected. Through divine grace, I reap more good than I consciously have sown.
Grace is like a slow but steady flowing river nudging me toward my highest good. It buffers the consequences of any erroneous thinking, and adds impetus to my forward progress. I experience grace as Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore describes it: “Even beyond what we ask, seek, earn, or deserve under the law, God is more than willing to give.” As I welcome divine grace, I experience greater good.
From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.—John 1:16-17
