Harmony - Thursday, March 27, 2014 | Daily Word

I WELCOME HARMONY IN MY LIFE.
In music, dissonance is resolved by moving to a consonant chord. I sometimes may experience dissonance or conflict in my relationships. In the same way that I move my fingers to different keys on the piano, I can shift my words or actions or change my perspective to invoke harmony.
If I believe I lack the tools to resolve the issue, I open my heart to God and pray:Here is the situation. How can I see it differently? What can I learn? I surrender it all to the presence of God within me and listen for inner guidance and direction.
As I let go of conflict, I learn that every situation is a lesson in love. I learn how to respond mindfully, and my relationships are restored to peace and harmony.

Clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.—Colossians 3:14

Comfort - Wednesday, March 26, 2014 | Daily Word

GOD IS MY ALL IN ALL.
It is possible to be alone yet not lonely; to feel down but not out; to experience loss and recover. All is possible because the spirit of God fills me with a steady stream of comfort and love. If I experience loss or a broken heart, I invite the love of God to heal me. Divine love is powerful in restoring my body, mind, and spirit.
If I am grieving, I trust in the promise of Spirit’s comfort and restoration. I recall the story of Job, who went from having everything to losing everything—possessions, friendships, social status, and health. Eventually, God restored it all to Job, even beyond what had been lost. I trust in God within to restore me to wholeness. The ups and downs in life are temporary, but God’s love is constant and sure.

Remember, I am with you always.—Matthew 28:20

Let Go, Let God - Tuesday, March 25, 2014 | Daily Word

Let Go, Let God - Tuesday, March 25, 2014 | Daily Word

Let Go, Let God
I HAND MY WORRIES OVER TO THE POWER OF GOD WITHIN.
I may wish I could guide and control the actions of others—yet trying to do so leads to frustration. My intentions may be good, but the choices and decisions of my loved ones are not mine to make. What I can do instead is let go—let go and let God.
I let go of my need to be in charge and allow God’s love to shine through. I let go of any fear, anger, or doubt I may be experiencing, and in the process, I set myself free. As I release my concerns, giving each one over to God, divine energy surges through me and I am filled with serenity, strength, and encouragement. God is in the midst of every situation, and all is well. Today, one step at a time, I let go and let God.

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.—Philippians 4:6

Family - Monday, March 24, 2014 | Daily Word

Family

I CELEBRATE MY UNITY WITH ALL LIFE.
In childhood, my notion of family might have stretched no further than my relatives. At some point, I may have widened my concept of family to include friends and members of my spiritual community. I might also consider my neighbors and coworkers to be family, as well as any beloved pets or animals.
As I mature in my understanding of All That Is, I see that I am one with all of life. I celebrate my unity with all living beings.
All people have the spirit of God within them. If I have been excluding anyone from my circle of respect, honor, and care, I now open my heart to Spirit within and embrace them as family.

So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.—Romans 12:5

Divine Idea

I AM OPEN AND RECEPTIVE TO THE MANIFESTATION OF DIVINE IDEAS.
All creation comes from Divine Mind as divine ideas. I consciously connect with the mind of God to create in my own life. The divine ideas that flow through me spur wonderful experiences and blessings.
Once I conceive an idea and imagine its fulfillment, I act in cooperation with the all-powerful, all-loving, all-wise spirit of God within me to bring the idea to fruition.
Creation is a divine process that is always at work. I stay aware, open, and receptive to divine ideas that arise in my mind. I focus on what is good, loving, and healthy, and in cooperation with the indwelling Spirit, I bring forth wonderful blessings for myself, my loved ones, and the world.

Decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.—Job 22:28

Faith - Saturday, March 22, 2014 | Daily Word

Faith

MY FAITH RESTS IN GOD WITHIN.
Faith is not based on statistics or facts or what I perceive through my senses. Faith is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” It comes from confidence in the presence and power of God within.
If I have succumbed to fear or worry, I consider the teachings of Jesus: “Have faith in God.” As I align my thoughts in accordance with this simple yet powerful teaching, my attitude shifts. I am uplifted, confident, and assured.
I choose to place my trust in God—in Divine Love and Wisdom. In any situation, I focus on what I know to be true and unwavering—the presence of God—and I am assured that all is well.

Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”–Mark 11:22

Grateful - Friday, March 21, 2014 | Daily Word

WITH A GRATEFUL HEART, I TURN TO GOD IN PRAYER.
I take time each morning and, again, at night to thank God for my many blessings. This powerful prayer practice helps me maintain an open and grateful heart.
As I focus on my blessings, my heart is infused with the light, life, and love of God. Every area of my life is enhanced. I am relaxed, renewed, and uplifted. I am filled with faith, expectation, and hope.
In the morning, gratitude sets my perspective for the day ahead. In the evening, a prayer of thanksgiving carries me into a restful sleep. When I awaken the next day, I am refreshed, ready for what’s next, alert and receptive to more blessings to come!

I am grateful to God—whom I worship with a clear conscience, as my ancestors did—when I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day.—2 Timothy 1:3
