How God is in Control

Home | Daily Word God is The Joy of Jesus. He is in control of His Creation.

LET GO, LET GOD
I let go and let God: All things are possible.

I can do anything I set my mind on. Endowed with divine inner faculties, unique abilities and awareness of my oneness with God, I can achieve all I want to achieve.

Before starting any task, I take a few moments to connect with God. I open my mind to divine instruction and listen for inner guidance. I put my thoughts aside and allow the presence of God to lead me. If I find I am wrestling with a problem, I remind myself to let go and let God. In the quiet communion of prayer, the wisdom of God speaks to my heart and I know what to do. I let go of the appearance of human limitations. I let God be God, and all things are possible.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory.--Ephesians 3:20

DIVINE ORDER
I open myself to divine order.

Disorder and confusion are symptoms of the need to get back in tune with God. Divine order is always at work. When I am in tune with it, I find that the crooked places become straight and the rough places smooth. The things that have seemed disorganized and confused fall into place, and order pervades.

Rather than struggle to straighten out any confusion that appears, I first bring my thoughts and feelings under control and gain the inner peace and serenity that come only from God. I declare my oneness with God and affirm: God is in me, and God is working through me to fulfill a good purpose. I am now open to God's perfect order. I allow my life to unfold as it should.

The crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth.--Luke 3:5

Comfort in The Joy of Jesus

Home | Daily Word The Joy of The Lord is our Salvation in Christ Jesus. The Joy of Jesus is praying for you and yo in Jesus name that your family. We also hope and pray that you will indeed share our message of joy with your contacts, in Jesus Name.

COMFORT
I am comforted by the love of God and blessed with peace.

Change is a part of life. Seasons change, children become adults, people enter and exit my life under both sad and happy circumstances. Every change brings a blessing, however easy or hard it may be to see at the time. Every change is a part of our life's journey as spiritual beings.

If changes are stirring sadness in me, I open my heart to the peace and comfort of God. I am never alone, for God is with me through every change. The love of God guides me in difficult moments and rejoices with me in happy times.

I greet change with an open heart and a willing spirit. I am not on my own. God is my comfort, and I am at peace.

I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.--John 10:9

Life is the gift from God that many have attempted to fully understand without a full comprehension of the meaning of such a glorious insight as to what to do with it. Life is all about love. We see it in movies and books yet true love is much deeper. Jesus is the best picture one may seek in ones quest to grasp the essence of love.

God is love. He gave us Jesus to learn of love in the hope, peace and joy found in the works of His life. Jesus did miracles to show love. He gave life, Jesus healed people. He feed them with very little, yet they were full.

Life and love is all about giving. God so loves us that He gave us Jesus. We too must give what is in our hearts to God. As we walk the various roads of life, let us walk with the Lord of our salvation in perfect, peace, hope love and joy that is found in Him.

PROSPERITY
I live in an abundant universe, and I am prosperous.

My prosperity is revealed to me through the medium of divine ideas. I do not linger on thoughts of lack or failure. I envision the unfoldment of divine possibilities and potential.

I allow a firm foundation of prosperity consciousness to take root and flourish within me by affirming: I live in an abundant universe, and I am prosperous.

My every desire for good and for a fuller expression of life is met by a field of divine support. The spirit of God within me is urging me to greater and greater expression. Whether I am seeking financial wealth, health, friendship or peace, I affirm that I am worthy of the kingdom. I trust in God as my Source of infinite supply. Knowing Truth, I cannot lack any good thing.

Compassion for All

Home | Daily Word

COMPASSION
I keep my heart open wide in loving compassion toward all.

If someone in my family is hurt or distressed, I can effect a positive change by maintaining a healthy, understanding attitude. Sincere expressions of care and concern help support those I hold in prayer. Just as food and water restore the physical body, love and compassion help restore the spirit.

For my global family I pray continually, holding thoughts of loving-kindness and envisioning right outcomes for the world's conflicts. I see every person and animal surrounded by the light and love of God. I pray that peace, love and comfort are abundant in every life. I have faith that the living spirit of God within is restoring every being to wholeness in mind, body and spirit.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.--Matthew 25:35

CHRISTMAS DAY
As I open my heart to love, Christ is born in me.

Long ago, three wise men following a star were led to a place in Bethlehem. There they found the baby Jesus and were filled with joy. Reverently they offered their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

People the world over exchange gifts on Christmas, but the greatest gift doesn't come wrapped in a package. Better than precious metals and fragrant spices is the unconditional love of God. This is the gift that Jesus Christ lived and taught. Love is the gift that brings life to both giver and receiver.

I open my heart to love this day and the Christ Spirit is born in me. I celebrate Christmas by humbly giving and gratefully receiving the peace and love of God.

When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy. On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage.--Matthew 2:10-11

When times appear to be the hardest known to man, what are we to do? Through-out history there have been been many situations and circumstances that have caused great pain to humanity and our survival.

People of faith are often most troubled because the world is still under the influence of sin. What can be done to give people hope?

Hold on to God. Faith is the only thing that we truly have today. Faith is what parted the Red Sea. Faith caused Jesus to heal people in need. God gave us Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of the world. The power of God raised Jesus from the grave and will return Him to save those who just hold on to their faith.

________

The Lord Keeps His Promise
(Luke 1:26–2:7; Galatians 3:6-18)

By Sam E. Stone

God always keeps his promises. The life of Abraham provides an excellent illustration of this. In recent weeks, we saw an elderly, childless couple become parents. Moving forward 2,000 years, today’s lesson reveals that from their descendants came God’s own Son, bringing the hope of salvation for all people.

The first section of our text is part of Mary’s song after she learned that she would give birth to God’s Son. Following the angel’s visit, Mary went to stay with Elizabeth, her relative in Judea. Elizabeth blessed her because Mary had trusted God would do what he said (Luke 1:26-45). Mary responded with a beautiful song of praise to the Lord. It is sometimes called “The Magnificat” because of the first word in the Latin translation.

Of the four Gospel writers, Luke is the one who gives the historical details and setting of Jesus’ birth. With careful research and guided by the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, he records the wonderful news of Christ’s coming. The second part of today’s text describes that event.

Praising God
Luke 1:46-55

My soul glorifies the Lord. Mary’s song is similar to the one Hannah sang when God answered her prayers by giving her a son (1 Samuel 2:1-10). God . . . has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. Mary had no noble rank, no wealth, no earthly position. What she did have, however, was submissive faith in the Lord (Luke 1:38). She was content to be God’s obedient slave, come what may. God himself is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11; 10:11-13). All generations will call me blessed. Recognizing Mary’s faith and how God honored it does not mean that she is to be worshipped, of course. The Mighty One has done great things for me. All blessings come from God (James 1:17).

His mercy extends to those who fear him. Fear suggests proper respect and reverence for God and his power (Psalm 111:10; Job 28:28). He has performed mighty deeds with his arm.Compare Isaiah 53:1—“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” The “arm” symbolizes strength and power (Jeremiah 27:5). He has filled the hungry. . . . He has helped his servant Israel. Despite the suffering endured by the people of Israel for years, God remained true to his promises (Genesis 22:16-18; Micah 7:20; Galatians 3:16). The people’s hopes would be realized in her son, Jesus. Ours will be as well.

Promise Kept
Luke 2:1-7

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. The Romans were the dominant world power when Jesus was born. By using the emperor’s name and a specific event in his reign, Luke established the accuracy of his account. A. T. Robertson wrote, “Papyri and inscriptions have confirmed Luke on every point in these critical verses (2:1-7).”

And everyone went to his own town to register. All of the people went to their place of ancestral origin to have their information recorded. This meant going to the city where their forefathers had settled when Joshua divided the land years before (Joshua 13–18). So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went up in elevation but down in direction, coming from the northern region of Galilee to the southern area called Judea. Bethlehem is located about six miles south of the capital city, Jerusalem.

He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. Centuries before, Micah had predicted the Messiah would be born here. God used the decree of a pagan ruler to bring about the fulfillment of this prophecy (Micah 5:2). When the time came for the baby to be born, she wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. It is not surprising that Mary and Joseph found a “no vacancy” sign, since many others were undoubtedly returning for the census as well. By describing Jesus as Mary’s firstborn, Luke obviously suggests that she had other children later (Matthew 12:46). The manger was simply a feeding trough used for the animals. It could have been located in a barn or cave. In this humble place, God kept his promise made to Abraham centuries before.

Information on Infancy Gospel of James

The Infancy Narrative of James is also known as the Protevangelium of James. In The Other Gospels, Ron Cameron says that the name Protevangelium "implies that most of the events recorded in this 'initial gospel' of James occur prior to those recorded in the gospels of the New Testament." The gospel received this name when it was first published in the sixteenth century.

There are about one hundred and thirty Greek manuscripts containing the Infancy Gospel of James, but the vast majority of these come from the tenth century or later. The earliest known manuscript of the text was found in 1958; it is now kept in Geneva's Bodmer Library. The manuscript dates to the third century; however, according to Cameron, "many of its readings seem to be secondary."

Cameron identifies three different sources for the Infancy Gospel of James: extracanonical traditions, the Old Testament, and the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. The mythical element of birth in a cave, for example, is an extracanonical also known to Justin Martyr. Cameron states of the author's use of Jewish scriptures: "Not only are individual words, phrases, and even whole paragraphs reminiscent of the Septuagint; such discrete forms as the hymn and the lament of Anna also display conscious, direct 'remembrance' of the stories recorded in the scriptures." Concerning the use of the canonical gospels, Cameron observes, "Frequently the respective passages in Matthew and Luke are harmonized into a single story in the Protevangelium of James; in some instances the two texts are conflated. It is by combining composite traditions with a harmony of the synoptic infancy stories that theProtevangelium of James has constructed the dramatic scenes of its gospel."

F. F. Bruce writes of the Infancy Gospel of James (Jesus and Christian Origins Outside the New Testament, pp. 86-87):

There is, for example, the Protevangel of James, which begins with an account of the birth of Mary to Joachim and Anna in their old age, when they had given up all hope of having children. Like the infant Samuel in the Old Testament, Mary was dedicated by her grateful mother to the service of god in the temple, and there she was placed in [the] charge of the priest Zechariah. When she was twelve years old she was betrothed by her guardians to Joseph. The story of the angelic annunciation and virginal conception follows the nativity narratives of Luke and Matthew, with various embellishments: Mary's chastity is vindicated, for example, by the 'ordeal of jealousy' prescribed in Numbers 5.11-28. In a cave near Bethlehem Mary gives birth to Jesus, Salome acting as midwife. When Herod fails to find the infant, after the visit of the wise men from the east, he tries to lay hands on the child John (later the Baptist), but when he too is not to be found (having been hidden with his mother Elizabeth in a hollow mountain) Herod has his father Zechariah put to death in the temple court.

In The Complete Gospels, Ronald Hock divides the Infancy Gospel of James into three parts. In the first eight chapters, there is the story of Mary's own unique birth and childhood, wherein it is related that Anna, Mary's mother, becomes pregnant only after supplication to God. In the second eight chapters, the story starts "with the crisis posed by Mary's becoming a woman and thus her imminent pollution of the temple. The priests resolve the crisis by turning her over to a divinely chosen widower, the carpenter Joseph, who agrees to be her guardian, but refeuses to marry her." When Mary becomes pregnant, a priest suspects Joseph and Mary of wrong-doing and put the two to a test, which they pass. In the last eight chapters, we hear of the birth of Jesus with the visit of midwifes, the hiding of Jesus from Herod in a feeding trough, and even the hiding of John from Herod in the hills with his mother Elizabeth. These legends are embellishments upon the stories given in Matthew and Luke.

The author claims to be James, the stepbrother of Jesus. The author cannot have actually been James because the author seems to be dependent upon Matthew and Luke. Only Matthew tells us about the massacre of the infants arranged by Herod, while only Luke tells us about the birth of John to Elizabeth. Concerning the question of how John escaped Herod's wrath, Hock argues that the author "answered this question by having Zechariah choose death rather than tell of John's whereabouts and by having Elizabeth flee to the hills with John." Since James' death at the hands of Ananias occured in 62 CE and since the Gospels of Matthew and Luke were composed later, the Infancy Gospel of James must be pseudonymous.

According to Hock, a major development found in the Protevangelium of James is this: "Mary, the central character, is no longer a virgin in the ordinary sense of a young woman of marriageable age, but a virgin of extraordinary purity and unending duration." Hock goes on to argue: "Indeed, Mary's purity is so emphasized that it becomes thematic and thus answers the fundamental question which guides the narrative: why Mary, of all the virgins in Israel, was chosen to be the mother of the son of God. The answer: no one could have been any purer. Thus Anna transforms Mary's bedroom into a sanctuary where she receives no impure food and is amused by the undefiled daughters of the Hebrews (6:5). When she turns three years of age, these young women escort her to the temple in Jerusalem where she spends the next nine years in absolute purity and is even fed by the hand on an angel (7:4-8:2). When, at age twelve, she is made the ward of Joseph, she spends her time spinning thread for the temple with the other virgins from Israel (10:1-12:1). When she is later suspected of impurity, she passes a test and has her innocence proclaimed by the high priest (15:1-16:7). Finally, when she gives birth to Jesus, two midwives certify that she remains a virgin (19:18-20:11). In short, it is through her purity that Mary fulfills the blessing which the priests made when she was only one year old: that she might be blessed with a blessing that could not be surpassed (6:9)."

Cameron also sees another theme in this infancy gospel: "In using and expanding the infancy narratives, theProtevangelium of James has carried forward the aretalogical tradition of the gospels, including in the traditional enumeration of heroic feats the birth of the holy family. The bucolic scenes in the narrative of Jesus' birth recall other stories of the birth of 'divine men' in antiquity, and are part of that tradition of Christian propaganda which sought to demonstrate the superiority of Jesus among heroes and gods."

The terminus a quo is set by the use of Matthew and Luke. The terminus ad quem is set by a reference from Origen and by the Bodmer papyrus. Within this range, a dating in the middle of the second century is most likely. This dating is suggested by the prevalence of harmonies of Matthew and Luke at this time, as shown from Justin Martyr. The Infancy Gospel of James itself may have been dependent on a harmony of Matthew and Luke, but in any case it stands in the harmonizing spirit of the era before the four canonical gospels were considered to be sacred scripture.

SILENCE
In the Silence, I am strengthened and renewed.

Before I begin my day, I rest in the silence of the morning, close my eyes and breathe in deeply. A smile comes to my lips as I feel the loving presence of God.

In silence there is power, depth, beauty and strength. I can never be alone, for God dwells within me. Silently, my prayers go forth to bless a dear one, and silently, I meditate upon the joy within.

It is in the silence that God strengthens my faith and fills me with courage. In the silence are born new aspirations, new inspirations and renewed faith. In the silence, I walk and commune with the indwelling Spirit and rest in God's sustaining love. Peace, be still. I am in the presence of the Almighty. In glorious wonderment I travel on holy ground.

Be silent, all people, before the Lord.--Zechariah 2:13

REDISCOVER
I rediscover the Christ in me.

Now is a fitting time to rediscover the meaning of Christmas. As I greet people with a sincere "Merry Christmas," the light of Christ within me shines forth.

I am merry as the joy from my Christ consciousness radiates outward. The Christ in me expresses through the love I feel and share with my family and friends. It shines through me as I worship, as I sing, and as I welcome guests into my home. The light of Christ is the love and appreciation I express for gifts given and received. It shines as I give thanks around the dining table and as I meditate quietly in the candlelight.

Christ in me is forever one with God's good. I rejoice in the Christ Presence shining forth from within and greet this holy season with a heartfelt "Merry Christmas!"

SAFETY
My loved ones and I are safe in the presence of God.

Many people travel during the holidays to visit friends and family near and far. I offer this prayer of blessing to all travelers as they make their way by highway, water or air:

May you know the presence of God is with you on your journey. God, the essence of all good, is within you as divine guidance, protection and order. Wherever you go, God is there.

The presence of God within you provides wisdom and direction, peace of mind and good judgment to ensure that your needs will be met. Your safety and the safety of your fellow travelers is ensured.

The Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, so that they might travel by day and by night.--Exodus 13:21

LIGHT
Darkness dissolves in the presence of God's light.
The winter solstice marks the shortest day of the year, but with it comes the promise of greater sunlight in the days ahead. Darkness is driven away by the light.

The light from a single candle is so powerful that when its flame is shared with another, nothing is lost. The candlelight illuminates the darkness, time and time again.

Divine light drives away darkness in my mind and in my life. When I shift my attention away from dark thoughts and focus on prayers of gratitude and joy, the spark of divinity ignites within me.

I joyously share God's light with others. As God's light shines through me, my life and the lives of others are uplifted.

I am writing you a new commandment ... because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.--1 John 2:8

FORGIVE
I forgive others and hold them in prayer.
When I have been hurt by another, the last thing I may feel like doing is forgiving. If a person says something that upsets or insults me, an organization takes action that angers me, or life seems unfair, there is a part of me that may want justice, not forgiveness.

In truth, though, there is no victory in resentment. I am the one who suffers when I choose not to forgive. As I release and let go of my need to defend my position, I am liberated. I experience a return to peace, rather than a need to blame.

While I do not condone hurtful behavior, and I take action when necessary, I do not hold anger in my heart. I forgive and bring the matter to God in prayer.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone.--Mark 11:25

HONESTY
I am honest with myself and with others.
Each day brings opportunities for me to be honest with myself and others. Observing my thoughts and actions, I know which ones are true, honorable and in alignment with my innate goodness. If I am not expressing my best, I turn to the Christ within and realign my self-talk, adjust my behaviors, and work to make things right.

Being honest with myself is one way I show self-respect and self-regard. I acknowledge my Christ Spirit, appreciate my strengths, and recognize growth areas. I make changes and seek help when needed. I build relationships with honest communication. I offer opinions, make requests, and share my feelings with respect and positive intentions.

These are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance.--Luke 8:15

My joy comes from trusting God, from knowing that outer circumstances or possessions are not the source of lasting joy. I realize the joy of Spirit is with me always. As God's child, my true nature is to be joyous. I am cheerful and happy and radiate joy to everyone I meet.

Joy sustains my soul, strengthens and heals my body, and harmonizes my relationships. I am blessed by the joy of Spirit.

I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.--John 15:11

GUIDANCE
As I quiet my mind, I access inner wisdom.
When I seek help with a life decision, I open myself to divine guidance by turning down the volume of the noisy world. I turn off the radio, the television, the computer, so I can hear the still small voice of Infinite Wisdom.

Spending time in nature or involving myself in a creative endeavor helps me change my state of mind and step away from my usual distractions. Moving apart for a time of quiet prayer and meditation tells my spirit I am willing to listen for the wisdom of the Divine.

Divine guidance comes from within and is available whenever I need it. I simply step away from the noise and into the Silence to access it.

Have you ever found the profound need to see Jesus? There comes a time in life when one must search deep within ones soul for the truth. The Bible tell us that the truth shall set thee free. The ideal of freedom is what most people and nations seek in one form or fashion. The goal of ones life is to discover ones creator. Would you like to see God?

Phillip asked Jesus to show us the father. Jesus was and is the light of the world. He is the truth and the life. We must pay close and careful attention to what Jesus said and did to give us life more abundantly. Jesus said, if you have seen me, you have seen the father. Jesus loved His enemies, Jesus pray for them.

The Sermon on the mound is one of meekness. Jesus was meek. When we see Jesus, we see God. The Joy of Jesus is seeing God. God is love. When we experience true love we see God is Christ Jesus. The cross is where death meets life. Jesus gave His life so that we may live and see the Father God. This is the Joy of Jesus.

As I rest in God, my balance is restored.
December can be a busy time. In rushing about, I may neglect my own physical and spiritual needs. Even when it's time to rest, I may push myself to keep going and do more. It's helpful to remember that I am the one who needs to take care of me.

I give myself permission to step back and take time for physical and spiritual self-care. It only takes a moment apart to let go of any stressors. Resting in God, I breathe deeply and feel my body relax. I let tension and strain melt away. I affirm divine life and vitality flowing in and through me. Spending time in quiet communion with God restores my balance, physically and spiritually.

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.--Matthew 11:28"

FaithWriters.com-Christian Prophecy - The Joy of Jesus is in the Clouds

FaithWriters.com-Christian Prophecy - The Joy of Jesus is in the Clouds:

How shall we know it is The Lord? This is a profound question as to the nature of God and the future. We now that Jesus will return to Earth as promised. The real question is how?

When Jesus took Peter, James and John to a mountain with Him, there was a great transformation. Jesus turn in to a dazzling white. He spoke with Moses and Isaiah on the mountain. Then a cloud appeared. God spoke and said. This is my Son listen to him.

Jesus said when he returns in will come in a cloud.

I love clouds. There some that are so white and fluffy. A big ball of cotton. Jesus will come to us in the most beautiful cloud ever seen. The Joy of Jesus is found in the clouds. We must always look up.

God will speak to our hearts of the love and joy of Jesus. We must place out trust in Him.God said, listen to him. We must follow Jesus and hold tightly to His words of eternal joy in the clouds.

The Words of Love in Christ Jesus

Home | Daily Word: "MY WORDS
The words I speak are full of love.
The words I speak have power, and I have the power to choose them wisely. Choosing words hastily or in anger may cause another to feel demoralized or discouraged. By contrast, loving words can heal and uplift.

I think of how words affect me. In prayer, I ask the Christ within to guide my words to be encouraging and uplifting for others as well as myself. I set an intention to speak in positive ways throughout the day. My words and tone of voice make a difference.

I acknowledge the Christ Spirit in each person and myself, and I naturally choose words of grace, love, peace and appreciation.

Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.--Ephesians 4:29"

LOVE
I am transformed by the harmonizing and expansive power of God's love.

Joining family, friends and my community in this season of love, I feel a generosity of spirit. Divine Love connects us to one another. It encourages cooperation. As we share God's love from within, we express appreciation and respect for each other.

I love and accept myself, and I love and accept others. Love brings forgiveness to strained relationships and healing to old hurts or misunderstandings. Love transforms conflict into harmony.

When I see with the eyes of love, I see possibilities for good in all people and circumstances. The more love I give, the more love grows in me. I am filled with joy as I express love with a happy heart.

So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.--1 John 4:16

Anxiety

"Be anxious for nothing" Philippians 4:6

Philippians 4:6

Worrying is as definitely forbidden as theft. This needs to be carefully pondered and definitely realized by us, so that we do not excuse it as an innocent "infirmity." The more we are convicted of the sinfulness of anxiety, the sooner are we likely to perceive that it is most dishonoring to God, and "strive against" it (Heb. 12:4). But how are we to "strive against" it?

First, by begging the Holy Spirit to grant us a deeper conviction of its enormity. Second, by making it a subject of special and earnest prayer, that we may be delivered from this evil. Third, by watching its beginning, and as soon as we are conscious of harassment of mind, as soon as we detect the unbelieving thought, lift up our heart to God and ask Him for deliverance from it.

The best antidote for anxiety is frequent meditation upon God’s goodness, power and sufficiency. When the saint can confidently realize "The Lord is My Shepherd," he must draw the conclusion, "I shall not want!" Immediately following our exhortation is, "but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God." Nothing is too big and nothing is too little to spread before and cast upon the Lord. The "with thanksgiving" is most important, yet it is the point at which we most fail. It means that before we receive God’s answer, we thank Him for the same: it is the confidence of the child expecting his Father to be gracious.

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought (anxious concern) for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:25,33)

Home | Daily Word: "GRACE
I am uplifted by the grace of God.
The early followers of Jesus set an example of how to move through the world with infinite grace. When I am in a tense or stressful situation, I call upon the Christ in me to help me respond with grace and understanding. In doing so, I experience the delight of graceful expression.

When I remain in a peaceful state, my heart opens wide and I create a force field of loving energy. Acting from the Christ within, I allow others to be where they are without judging them, or myself.

I am inspired to be more gracious and accepting, to love myself and others fully and completely. By allowing the grace of Spirit to move through me freely, I help create a world that is loving, kind and compassionate.

Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.--Acts 6:8"
