Thanksgiving

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE.
Giving thanks is a healing act. As I acknowledge my gratitude for life, I feel renewed in mind and body. Life is a supreme gift of God. In prayer and thanksgiving, I strengthen my connection with God and new life pours in to revitalize every part of me and every part of my life.
As I recognize God in all and through all, my environment is harmonized and blessed. I know that wherever God is, good is.
I give thanks today for my ability to pour the healing life of God out into the world. Every word I write or speak, every touch of my hand, every act of service to man, woman, or child becomes a blessing as I maintain a deep consciousness of the presence of God. God gave me life, and I express it freely.

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!—2 Corinthians 9:15

Turn Around - Friday, September 12, 2014 | Daily Word

I START FRESH TODAY!
It is never too late to turn my life around. I have freedom of choice and the power to act on wise choices. If I am on a path that is not healthy for me, if I have made unwise decisions or am unhappy with where I am headed, I can turn around.
I search my heart for direction, trusting that right judgment and divine wisdom are available to me. Starting over is not always easy, but I have the strength, courage, and power I need to make changes. As I act on inner guidance and choose a new path, I give thanks for every experience that helped me reach this turning point.
It is never too late to turn my life around. Today I look for ways in which to start anew and trust I will be clearly guided.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.—Ecclesiastes 3:1

World Day of Prayer - Thursday, September 11, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. I LET MY LIGHT SHINE.
Divine Light is the presence and power of God—the activity of God. I am illumined by Divine Light. I claim my spiritual nature and let my light shine.
Even in the midst of mundane daily tasks, even in the midst of difficulty or sorrow, even in the midst of a rapidly changing world, the light of God shines brightly in me.
Through prayer, I turn on the light within. The moment I turn toward God, the wisdom, love, life, and peace of God fill my being. The moment I connect with Spirit, light streams forth from within. I allow the light of God to illumine my thoughts, inspire my words, and empower my actions. The light of God shines brightly in me.

You are the light of the world … let your light shine.—Matthew 5:14-16

Let Go, Let God - Tuesday, September 09, 2014 | Daily Word

Let Go, Let God - Tuesday, September 09, 2014 | Daily Word

I LET GO AND LET GOD OPEN MY MIND AND HEART TO RECEIVE.
When facing challenges, I remember to “let go and let God.” The first step is to release. I let go of what I am holding to in consciousness. Just as empty and open hands are free to receive, I am open and available to receive from Spirit.
I let go of worry and welcome clarity of thought. I let go of how things “should” be and open my mind and heart to receive what is. I let go of hurry and impatience and affirm I have the time and energy to do what is mine to do.
I release resentment and blame, and God expresses through me as gratitude. I free myself from anger and upset, and God demonstrates as joy. I liberate myself from confusion, and God reveals peace. I release, let go, and let God be God in my life.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.—2 Corinthians 5:7

Possibilities - Monday, September 08, 2014 | Daily Word

ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO ME.
Blinders on a racehorse keep him focused on the finish line by narrowing his view. However, if I narrow my sight too much, I may not see the breadth of opportunities available to me. Goals are great as long as I remain open to something better!
With my eyes open to the fullness of Spirit, I see the infinite possibilities available to me. Spirit is everywhere present—the energy of creativity alive in each moment. Closing my eyes, taking a gentle breath, I affirm: I am one with Spirit. I feel my heart open to endless possibilities.
I am not limited to any one path. Spirit is infinite. Divine wisdom guides me to my highest and best life.

What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.—1 Corinthians 2:9

Pray for Others - Sunday, September 07, 2014 | Daily Word

Pray for Others - Sunday, September 07, 2014 | Daily Word

I PRAY FOR OTHERS FROM A CONSCIOUSNESS OF GOD.
Each day, I set aside time to pray for others—for those I love, for my community, and for the world. While events in life may prompt me to worry, I choose instead to trust in God.
I begin my prayer by aligning my thoughts with God-consciousness. My mind is calm; I am centered in my heart; and I breathe easily. In the quiet, I see those for whom I pray enfolded in Divine Love. I envision peace and guidance moving in and through their life circumstances. Divine Love, present and active, is healing and restoring, bringing balance and harmony. As I claim the highest good for others, I see loving outcomes emerge. I trust in God, and all is well.

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.—Philippians 4:6
