Guidance - Thursday, April 03, 2014 | Daily Word

I CLAIM THE WISDOM OF DIVINE GUIDANCE.
If I lose my way while traveling, I stop to get my bearings. Likewise, on my journey through life, if I stumble or feel uncertain, I pause to re-center myself. I do not allow fear or anxiety to take over my thoughts. With each calming breath, I claim the wisdom of divine guidance, always available in that peaceful place within.
As I breathe, I release thoughts that I may be lacking anything necessary for my good. I affirm: As I let go of the tension of uncertainty, I claim the wisdom of God’s guidance. Nothing is more powerful than Divine Mind. I am one with its infinite wisdom.
As I speak these words of Truth in prayer, I open the way for the guidance I seek.

Your words have supported those who were stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees.—Job 4:4

Teach Me - Wednesday, April 02, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM WILLING TO LEARN AND GROW.
As I turn within to pray, I prepare to bring forth my best Self. I am willing to learn and grow. All I need is fulfilled through the presence of God within me. I open to greater faith, love, and understanding as I pray:
Teach me. Show me how to be more loving and understanding. Teach me to embody and express Divine Love in my thoughts, words, and actions. Lead me into forgiveness. I open now to the way of Divine Love.
Guide me. Show me how to be faith-filled. Give me the vision to see beyond appearances. Help me to know how to live and express Truth every day. I open now to Divine Wisdom and Understanding.
With gratitude, I open my heart to learn and to grow in the way of Truth. And so it is. Amen.

Humility goes before honor.—Proverbs 15:33

GRATITUDE BRINGS ME JOY!
According to the Law of Increase, what I focus on multiplies. Knowing this, I refrain from dwelling on my challenges and struggles. I choose instead to center my thoughts on what brings me happiness—my friends and family, beloved pets, satisfying work and interests, the beauty of nature, and so much more. As I appreciate the blessings in my life, they multiply abundantly.
I joyously and continuously give thanks for my ever-increasing good and stand in awe of the activity of God. As I dwell in the energy of gratitude, its radiance expands within me, blessing not only myself, but also those around me.

You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest.—Isaiah 9:3

SPIRITUAL IDEAS BLOOM IN MY HEART.
When I hear about spiritual ideas such as love, generosity, and compassion, it is as if a seed has been planted in my mind. Just as a flower seed needs sun, rain, and time to take root, I nurture these divine ideas in prayer and meditation, and my understanding grows.
Like the sun warms a seedling, the light of Spirit illuminates my mind. Just as the cooling rains quench the earth’s thirst, the love of God nurtures me. I tap into the light and love of God in the silence of meditation. Through prayer, I remove the weeds of error thoughts, and let them go.
Spiritual ideas blossom in my life as bright and beautiful flowers. I am blessed.

What was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit.—Matthew 13:23

MY FAITH LIES WITH THE EVER-PRESENT POWER OF GOD.
In Spirit and in Truth there is only one power, the power of good, the power of God. At times, the world may seem to have dominion and authority; there may seem to be a power in the external; there may appear to be more than God, but it is not so.
There is only One Power and One Presence. It is the Power that gives us Life. It is All That Is. When we understand this, no so-called “power” in the world can prevail.
God is the energy that enlivens us, the sole power that impels us to understanding, health, peace, order, harmony, love, joy, and prosperity.
God is the power behind our own self-mastery. We cannot fail when we draw our power from the Divine.

You have given them dominion over the works of your hands.—Psalm 8:6
