Online Prayers, Monthly Affirmations and Daily Inspiration - Daily Word Affirmations

Monthly Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By affirming Truth we are lifted out of false thinking into the consciousness of Spirit. Each time we pray positively and faithfully, we are calling forth the divine activity that is always within us.
We focus on these daily prayers and affirmations throughout the month for greater expression of our divine inner light. Giving thanks in advance, we claim each of our prayers as true for ourselves and our loved ones, remaining open and receptive to the highest good for all.

Season - Thursday, March 20, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS SEASON OF MY LIFE.
Each season has its own distinct character and purpose—dormancy in winter, budding in spring, growth in summer, release in autumn. Each season is dependent on the others occurring in their natural order.
Our lives, too, have seasons. We move through infancy, childhood, adulthood, and maturity experiencing constant change. Each season brings its unique joys and challenges, and each builds on the one before it.
In Ecclesiastes we read, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” I am grateful for this season of my life, for the changes and growth it brings, for the rest and activity. With each season, I grow into the fullness of my humanity.

They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season … In all that they do, they prosper.—Psalm 1:3

Guidance - Wednesday, March 19, 2014 | Daily Word

THE SPIRIT OF GOD GUIDES ME HOME.
This month the swallows will arrive at their summer nesting grounds in and around Mission San Juan Capistrano in California. Then in October, the flock will take flight once more for its annual migration to Argentina. The swallows’ inner guidance leads them safely through this journey every year.
Like these little birds, I have reliable inner guidance to help me navigate my journey through life. I need not fear losing my way. I have constant access to divine wisdom, judgment, and understanding.
If ever I feel lost, I call upon Spirit for direction. In moments of stillness, I listen. The spirit of God in my heart and mind always guides me home.

I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them.—Isaiah 42:16

Healing - Tuesday, March 18, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM ONE WITH DIVINE LIFE.
My body is a divine creation. Every cell and system works together in perfect harmony to function exactly as I need it to. I thank God for the healing power always at work in me. I praise every part of my body, for it was created with an innate ability to heal and restore.
If I experience illness, I acknowledge the condition or diagnosis without identifying with it or claiming it as my own. It is not who I am.
I affirm my identity as a spiritual being, one with Divine Life. I claim my truth: I am healthy, whole, and well. Well-being is my divine inheritance, and by my faith, I am made whole.

Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight.—Mark 10:52

Free - Monday, March 17, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM FREE TO EXPRESS MY CHRIST NATURE.
Anchored in Truth, I am not swayed by the tide of worldly opinion. The media may choose to focus on limitation, fear, strife, and discord. I choose to stay centered in divine power and wisdom. I speak and act in congruence with the Christ in me.
No matter what is happening in the world, I focus on Spirit and Truth. The Christ within provides comfort, strength, guidance, and freedom. I stand strong and confident, knowing that all is well.
Divine love releases me from fear. Divine understanding and wisdom guide me to peace and assurance. I journey boldly through life, freely expressing God’s goodness, peace, light, and love.

To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you.—Colossians 1:27

Nonresistance - Sunday, March 16, 2014 | Daily Word

Nonresistance - Sunday, March 16, 2014 | Daily Word

NONRESISTANCE DELIVERS ME TO PEACE AND POWER.
Resistance: We may think it refers to arguments or physical altercations, but more commonly, resistance is mental. We often resist circumstances, people, or beliefs we find difficult to accept.
We are resisting whenever we oppose, criticize, or resent. However, nonresistance is infinitely more powerful. Nonresistance is not mere tolerance; it is integrity that offers no opposition. We look for similarities, not differences. We have no enemies, because we are not an enemy.
When my mind seeks agreement, agreement becomes possible. I may not immediately see the solution, but I can be willing to see it. This act of nonresistance is the manifestation of the Divine in me. As I practice it, peace flows through me, from me, and to me.

Do not resist an evildoer.—Matthew 5:39

Belonging - Saturday, March 15, 2014 | Daily Word

Belonging - Saturday, March 15, 2014 | Daily Word

I BELONG TO THE COMMUNITY OF HUMANITY.
I am a member of many communities—my neighborhood, work, church, family, and friends as well as the community of humanity. Each relationship reminds me of the value of being connected with others.
The life of a community is richer and healthier as each person practices thoughtfulness, kindness, and understanding. These practices foster happiness and peace.
I am spiritually one with all people. As I acknowledge the divine in every member of my community, I also recognize the Christ Spirit in me. Aware of the Christ within, I act in ways that contribute to the good of all. I work together with others to accomplish goals great and small.

Peace be to the whole community, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.—Ephesians 6:23
