Divine Order - Tuesday, March 04, 2014 | Daily Word

CHANGE OPENS THE WAY TO GREATER GOOD.
Nature moves in cycles from activity to dormancy. First comes a clearing away of the old, then a time of stillness, then new life. Seasons change in a predictable way; yet my life may not always appear so orderly. What may look like turmoil is really life transforming into a new season. What may look like inactivity is really the precursor to new growth.
As a child, I learned what to expect from spring, summer, fall, and winter. As an adult, I learn to trust the cycles of renewal in my own life. I learn from the past, release what no longer serves me, and create each new day. I appreciate the endings that lead to new beginnings, and give thanks that the goodness of God is present in every experience.

I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.”—Psalm 31:14

Inner Light - Monday, March 03, 2014 | Daily Word

I LET MY LIGHT SHINE TO BLESS THE WORLD.
My soul longs to shine brightly; yet I may not always feel that it does. When I am angry, sad, or frustrated, I remind myself that my inner light is a divine gift that never leaves me. Emotions shift and change, but the light of God in me is constant and strong.
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” I magnify my inner light by discovering and expressing my gifts and talents. When I share them with others and give from my heart, my authentic self shines through.
As I give and express all that I am, I become a powerful beacon of light and love. My light shines strong and steady to bless the world.

Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.—Matthew 5:16

Release - Sunday, March 02, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM READY TO CREATE A NEW DAY!
At any time, I can release hurt or disappointment from the past. Although I cannot change what happened yesterday, I can create a new today. I turn within to pray, and I connect with the Christ of my being—the inner light that guides me. I am ready to forgive, ready to release what was or could have been, and accept what is.
I do not restrict the blessings that are unfolding in my life by harboring grudges or resentment. I recognize and accept the blessings that are mine to experience. I open myself to a new day and a new way of being.
The Christ within shows me the way to a new and beautiful life, which I am ready and willing to receive.

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.—John 14:3

Inner Peace - Saturday, March 01, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM STRENGTHENED BY THE PEACE OF GOD WITHIN.
When I fill my mind with the loving presence of God, I find peace. Whatever storms may be stirring around me, I find my center by connecting with the spirit of God in me. I follow my breath into my sacred heart center. I am one with the comforting Presence that is always here and available to me. As I turn away from what is happening outside, I go within and abide in peace.
One with Divine Love, I breathe easily, relax, and let go. Once I have regained my serenity, I have the presence of mind to thoughtfully take right action. Divine ideas and solutions come to me. I am enriched and empowered by the peace of God within.

I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!—John 16:33

Commitment - Friday, February 28, 2014 | Daily Word

I FOCUS ON SPIRIT AND LIVE WITH EASE.
When my mind is on Spirit, other thoughts do not disturb me. I focus on the presence of God and find that life unfolds with ease and grace.
My commitment to the Divine means that as I move through my day, I listen to divine guidance. If conflict arises, I focus on my breath and let it carry me into my heart space. I center myself in the Love that I am and respond from my divine nature. If I need help, I claim it from Spirit within.
Guided to live and act for good, I live my commitment to Spirit. Everything I need is provided. I cocreate my life with the eternal Divine, and I live with ease.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.—Matthew 11:29-30

Stillness - Thursday, February 27, 2014 | Daily Word

I AM CENTERED IN THE STILLNESS OF SPIRIT.
A spinning bicycle wheel creates the illusion that the outer tire is spinning faster than the central hub. At the center, there may seem to be no motion at all. This symbolizes a spiritual truth: The peace and stillness of Spirit is found at the center of our beings.
At times I may feel as if I am peddling fast, that my life is spinning round and round, yet I am getting nowhere. At such times, I can ask myself: Have I lost touch with my center of Truth?
To reclaim the stillness, I let go of any hurried behaviors. I ask God, “Come and take over.” As the outer world keeps spinning, I surrender to the peace of Spirit and remain centered in the quiet of my soul.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.—John 14:27

Renewed
I LOVINGLY CARE FOR MY MIND, BODY, AND SOUL, AND I AM RENEWED.
Rest and renewal occur on many levels. An afternoon nap renews the body. Taking time at the end of a busy day to reconnect with friends, listen to music, or watch an entertaining movie—all provide rest for the mind.
To renew my soul, I reconnect with Source. Through prayer and meditation my spirit is refreshed. In the Silence, I dwell in the peaceful, wise center of my being. I become conscious, aligned with God, and connected to my Source.
I am wholly refreshed, revitalized, and renewed, as I tend to the needs of my body, mind, and soul.

Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.—Isaiah 40:31
