Acceptance

I LOVE AND ACCEPT MYSELF AND OTHERS.
People come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own values, ideas, and customs. Each individual is a unique gift of God, with inner beauty and divine potential. Although a person’s words and actions may sometimes obscure their true nature, it is always visible through the eyes of Love.
I accept others as I accept myself. I, too, am a unique light in the world: a light kindled by Spirit and fueled by the love of God within. Nothing can extinguish the light that shines in me. When challenges arise, I accept them as stepping-stones to a greater awareness of my soul’s journey and the power of God within.
Each of us is one-of-a-kind, worthy of love, and deserving of good.

Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.—Proverbs 4:10

Satisfied Soul

I KEEP MY MIND ON GOD, AND MY SOUL IS SATISFIED.
A beautiful sunset, the sound of laughter, the tastes and smells of my favorite foods—these enrich my life and satisfy my senses. But how do I satisfy my soul? Jesus taught, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
As I keep my mind on God, I gain a sense of God’s love for me. I return that love by answering the call to a higher purpose.
With a heart full of God’s love, I joyfully express it to others. In exchange for anger, I offer understanding. For confusion, I offer clarity. For sadness, I offer comfort. With my mind and heart on God, my life is filled with meaning. I give thanks and sing praises, for in loving God, my soul is satisfied.

My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast, and my mouth praises you with joyful lips.—Psalm 63:5

Healing

I AM WONDROUSLY MADE OF INFINITE LOVE.
If a healing challenge or diagnosis threatens to crush my spirit, I galvanize my personal power by prayerfully connecting with the inner healer, the Spirit of Truth.
I affirm statements of Truth that align my consciousness with my God-given wholeness. These are not empty platitudes; they are affirmations prayed with power and conviction:
I am wondrously made of Infinite Love. Infinite Love is a mighty healing stream, coursing through my entire being, releasing divine energy that restores my health.
I fill my mind with powerful thoughts until I feel the Truth of those statements deep in my heart. Then I celebrate the outcome: Renewed health and vitality in every part of me—mind, body, and spirit.

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.—John 17:17

Women Get The Good Part of Jesus

Newman Reader - Parochial & Plain Sermons 3 - Sermon 22

Sermon 22. The Good Part of Mary

"Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things; but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her." Luke x. 41, 42.
{318} EVERY word of Christ is good; it has its mission and its purpose, and does not fall to the ground [Note 1]. It cannot be that He should ever speak transitory words, who is Himself the very Word of God, uttering, at His good pleasure, the deep counsels and the holy will of Him who is invisible. Every word of Christ is good; and did we receive a record of His sayings even from ordinary men, yet we might be sure as to whatever was thus preserved, whether spoken to disciple or enemy, whether by way of warning, advice, rebuke, comfort, argument, or condemnation, that nothing had a merely occasional meaning, a partial scope and confined range, nothing regarded merely the moment, or the accident, or the audience; but all His sacred speeches, though clothed in a temporary garb, and serving an immediate end, and difficult, in consequence, to disengage {319} from what is temporary in them and immediate, yet all have their force in every age, abiding in the Church on earth, "enduring for ever in heaven," and running on into eternity. They are our rule, "holy, just, and good," "the lantern of our feet and the light of our paths," in this very day as fully and as intimately as when they were first pronounced.

It's all about Jesus

FaithWriters.com-Christian Communication - It's all about Jesus

What is the meaning of life? This question has been pondered by the greatest minds on earth. Our governments get lost in war and money so much that it has only created more problems. The core values of life have been overshadowed by the news of the day that is often forgotten the very next day. There are so many people living in poverty and no one seems to care. Jesus cared because He lived in poverty.

The History Channel has taken on the task of depicting the Bible on T.V. We get an opportunity to study such questions as to who was Jesus?

There is much speculation as to who was Jesus, just as there is to the meaning of life? Is it true that the two questions are actually one answer? That Jesus is life, the truth, and the way?

The mystery of God is that Jesus is the meaning of life. Jesus is the truth. He lived and died in such a manner that tells us that He died on the cross for our sins. Jesus is all about love. God is love. We need more love today. God raised Jesus from the dead because of love. Jesus will indeed return with all power and glory. Jesus and God are one. We too can be at one as well, this is what it is all about if we only have the faith of a mustard seed. This is The Joy of Jesus and the meaning of life.
