Nourished - Thursday, March 07, 2013 | Daily Word

Nourished
I AM WELL-NOURISHED, PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY.
My body is sustained by proper nutrition. Healthy food and activities, clean air and water—these energize me physically and keep my mind sharp. A healthy lifestyle helps me confidently manage the changes and challenges in my life.
Yet I am also nourished in ways beyond the physical; I am strengthened and energized by spiritual nourishment. Prayer and meditation keep me attuned to the workings of God in and through me. Inspirational reading and music illumine my mind. I cultivate a loving heart by engaging in life with love, energy and passion.
Well-nourished, physically and spiritually, I view every challenge as an opportunity for growth and greet life with strength and resolve.
One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.—Matthew 4:4

Fearless - Wednesday, March 06, 2013 | Daily Word

Fearless
I AM FEARLESS, FOR GOD IS ALWAYS WITH ME AND WITHIN ME.
My awareness of God’s presence is the foundation of my faith. It supports and inspires me to live fully, confidently and fearlessly.
As I awaken from a restful night’s sleep, my first thoughts are of gratitude for God’s abiding presence through the night and for the dawning of a new day replete with potential. I welcome the adventure that is my life. I express my ideas and interact with others openly, with self-assurance. I carry out my plans confidently. If I need to redirect, retool or start anew, I face the challenge without fear, for God is with me and within me.
At the close of the day, I give thanks for the presence of God supporting me every step of the way.
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you … Do not fear.–Deuteronomy 31:8

Timing
MY GOOD IS REVEALED IN DIVINE TIMING.
It is said that timing is everything—in relationships, career, finances and more. So I choose not to struggle with or force circumstances in life. I know the time will be right when I feel a nudge from Spirit within to move in a new direction.
I pay attention to my intuition, knowing that inner wisdom and divine understanding direct me rightly. I have learned what happens when I disregard my inner compass. Acting too soon or too late may result in misunderstandings and lost opportunities.
But not this time! This time I wait patiently for clear direction and follow my inner guidance, knowing I will be guided to the right and perfect action at the right and perfect time.
See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!—2 Corinthians 6:2

Practice
I CHERISH MY TIME OF COMMUNION WITH GOD.
At times my prayer and meditation practice may seem stagnant or monotonous. But then I remember that communing with my God-essence is the most important thing I do each day.
The practice of prayer and meditation is a muscle that needs regular exercise. An athlete consistently trains for competition, and in the process achieves endurance, form and strength. In the same way, my strong prayer practice increases my capacity to connect consciously with the essence of All That Is.
I am one with my source of inner peace and inspiration, clarity and assurance. As I tap in to the Divine in prayer, I know my way will be made clear. I am grateful for the practice of communing with my Creator.
Put these things into practice, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress.—1 Timothy 4:15

Energy - Sunday, March 03, 2013 | Daily Word

Energy
I AM DIVINE ENERGY EXPRESSING AS VITALITY AND LIFE.
God created me with the physical, mental and spiritual capacity to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. Whether I am active or resting, I am vitally alive. While my body rests, my mind may dream of my next endeavor. When I’m physically active, my mind clears as I focus on the task at hand.
In the Silence of prayer and meditation, I still my body and mind, tapping into the Source of strength and energy within. No thought or distraction interferes with the flow of energy in and through me. I am recharged physically, mentally and spiritually.
At work, at play, and at rest, I channel my energy into activities that bring joy to myself and others. Energized by Spirit within, I live an abundant life.
I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.—John 10:10

Joy - Friday, March 01, 2013 | Daily Word

Joy
MY LIFE IS FILLED WITH JOY.
When I desire greater happiness, I choose actions and activities that cultivate joy. I allow praise, gratitude and positivity to become my daily companions. I build a strong circle of family and friends and support them by being cheerful and uplifting, encouraging and supportive. In turn, they encourage me. My joy grows as I share it with others. It is like the contagion of laughter—when one person feels joyful, others catch that spirit and the joy spreads.
Joy is a state of mind that can be nurtured and strengthened. Joyful thoughts, words and actions open the way for the energizing spirit of God to fully express in every aspect of my life. I feel vibrantly alive as I fill my life with joy.
He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouts of joy.—Job 8:21

Celebrate
I CELEBRATE THE FULLNESS OF LIFE.
Celebrations commonly occur on birthdays, anniversaries and holidays; yet all types of experiences make up the fullness of my life. In life I will face loss and challenge, joy and achievement. Understanding and appreciating the full spectrum of life’s experiences, I celebrate all points along the way.
I celebrate the moments that lift me up and those that challenge me to step up. I praise every evidence of God’s goodness and every occasion where the activity of God comes into view. I am filled with joy and enthusiasm for living and loving all that life has to offer. Praise and celebration invite the good to spring forth. The fullness of life is a gift from God.
You shall celebrate with all the bounty that the Lord your God has given to you.—Deuteronomy 26:11
