Pray for Others - Wednesday, January 09, 2013 | Daily Word

Pray for Others
I PRAY AFFIRMING PEACE, WHOLENESS, WISDOM AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL.
When I call Silent Unity for prayer support, I hear the comforting words: “How may we pray with you?” In that sacred moment, the power of prayer is palpable. After the call, my name, and the names of everyone who has requested prayer, are placed in a prayer vigil chapel for 30 days of continuous prayer.
Prayer is unceasing in Silent Unity. I act in spiritual partnership with this global prayer ministry whenever I pray and whenever I include others in myprayers for peace, wholeness, wisdom and prosperity. Any seeming distance in time or space disappears through prayer. We are one. Whether I am praying alone or with others, I affirm the well-being of all expressions of God in the world.
They long for you and pray for you because of the surpassing grace of God.—2 Corinthians 9:14

The Sermon On The Mount - Chapter Thirty-Two

The Sermon On The Mount - Chapter Thirty-Two

Faith - Tuesday, January 08, 2013 | Daily Word

Faith
EMPOWERED BY FAITH, I CLAIM MY GOOD.
Faith is the power that turns the invisible into the visible. In the game of golf, if a golfer is distracted by self-doubt or preoccupied with future events, his or her shot will likely go astray. A successful golfer pauses before each shot to imagine completing the stroke and seeing the ball land where intended. Each shot is directed by the golfer’s clarity of focus and powered by faith.
I can use this same power to succeed in any situation. I heed my inner wisdom, envision my desired outcome, and proceed with intention. I hold in mind a clear picture of my expectation being met and focus on creating the experience. Empowered by faith, I claim my good.
So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.—Mark 11:24

Alive
I AM ALIVE WITH THE AWARENESS OF GOD. MY LIFE IS BLESSED.
I am alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic about life! With this affirmation of truth, I give thanks for this day, grateful for the adventure and excited to discover the blessings ahead.
Feeling alive with the spirit of God, I appreciate every person and everything around me. It is as if a veil has been lifted. I clearly see the blessings in my life, and my eyes are opened to the goodness of God. I welcome new opportunities to be a channel for God’s good to flow.
Focused on God, I feel a new surge of energy and purpose. I am alive spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally—alive with the awareness of God.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.—Psalm 23:6

Restore - Sunday, January 06, 2013 | Daily Word:Restore
I AM HEALTHY AND WHOLE.
I have in me the “same mind … that was in Christ Jesus.” As I embrace divine ideas of Truth—peace, love, health and strength—I lift my consciousness to Christ Mind, and I am guided to choices that restore my health and wholeness. My well-being is established in body, mind and spirit.
In Christ Consciousness, I see myself and all others perfect, healthy and strong. I lay aside any belief in limitation and realize the truth of abundant life and health.
As I think of loved ones facing health or other challenges, I behold the Christ within them. I see their divine wholeness, and I am confident of their inner and outer restoration. I see them moving through any challenge, emerging whole, healed and strong.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 2:5

Fresh Start
A NEW ME IS BEING REVEALED EACH DAY.
An ending to something meaningful in my life may come as a surprise or as a dreaded outcome. When I hear or think the words, “It’s over,” I may feel confused or even hopeless. Yet whether anticipated or not, an ending is also a chance for a new beginning, an opportunity for a fresh start.
When a relationship or a job has run its course, or a way of life no longer suits me, I make a new choice. Success comes as I learn from my mistakes, pick myself up, and begin anew. I turn within to release thoughts of the past, and I am encouraged by the love and wisdom that springs forth from the presence of God within me. As I rely on God, I discover all I can enjoy and accomplish in life. A new me is being revealed each day.
I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?—Isaiah 43:19

Forgive - Friday, January 04, 2013 | Daily Word

Forgive
WITH GOD’S HELP, I FORGIVE.
In this new year, I inventory my life to assess what I want and don’t want. I ask myself, What am I experiencing in my mind and heart? Observing my innermost thoughts and feelings, I take note of what I wish to keep and what I am ready to release.
I hold close to heart the thoughts, beliefs and habits that foster my spiritual growth, enhance my relationships, and sustain my well-being. If I am holding on to resentments or hurts, I seek God’s guidance in freeing my soul and releasing these burdens.
I am willing to forgive others and myself, to let go and trust God to lead me through any challenge. With each act of forgiveness, I feel lighter and I invite more good into all areas of my life.
Be kind to one another … forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.–Ephesians 4:32
