Creativity - Tuesday, November 20, 2012 | Daily Word: "Creativity
I EXPRESS MY DIVINE CREATIVITY!
If I am feeling uncreative, I gently release that notion and graciously accept the many gifts that are inherently mine as a child of God. I am a creative expression of God, and God expresses creatively through me.

Creativity is the ability to make, produce or bring something into existence through my actions or behaviors. While creativity is often associated with arts and music, its breadth has no limits. Whether I mix ingredients for a cake, teach a child, or organize a community, I am expressing my creative nature.

My creations begin with an idea and come into fruition through the activity of my imagination, thoughts and actions. I express my gifts in many ways every day, and I joyfully share what I have created.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.—1 Corinthians 12:4"

Inner Peace - Monday, November 19, 2012 | Daily Word

Inner Peace
I AM FILLED WITH THE CALM PRESENCE OF GOD.
Activities and gatherings may pack my schedule during the holiday season. Sometimes it can seem overwhelming. Yet in the midst of any busyness, I can find peace and calm within.
In the morning, I experience the peace of a new day dawning. If I feel stress or anxiety coming on, I close my eyes and breathe deeply. I focus on a spiritual idea, such as love, peace or harmony, and repeat it softly in my mind. This practice helps me make an inner connection with the Spirit of Peace and Order, and I open to inner tranquility.
Throughout the day, I turn within to find my center—to find God. As I attend to my tasks and activities, I carry the presence of God with and within me, and I am at peace.
Put things in order … and the God of love and peace will be with you.—2 Corinthians 13:11

Supported - Sunday, November 18, 2012 | Daily Word: "Supported
GOD IS MY RESOURCE AND MY HELP.
I am never without means of support. Information and ideas come to me through authors and experts, people in my community or friends and family members. Yet these are simply outward expressions of the Source of my supply. God within is my Source, and the best way to tap into God is through prayer.

Prayer is my channel to the all-knowing wisdom of God. In prayer, I receive divine ideas that guide me to the help I need. If I have doubts or concerns about my choices or decisions, I turn within in prayer. Prayer focuses my attention on God and I become an open receptor of inspiration. Centered in God, I have unlimited resources and wisdom. Centered in God, I am guided to my good.

You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.—Psalm 31:3"

Forgive - Saturday, November 17, 2012 | Daily Word

Forgive
AS I FORGIVE, I CONNECT IN ONENESS WITH THE DIVINE.
Forgiveness may sometimes seem daunting, but it is essential to my spiritual progress. If I hold resentment, blame or unforgiveness in my heart, I feel separated from the Divine. But when I am willing to forgive and let go of anger and guilt, I feel the love of God supporting me in every way.
When I forgive, I am not granting anyone permission to harm me or someone else. I am releasing the energy I have carried about mistakes I and others have made. The past is the past, and I free myself to move forward with compassion, love and kindness toward myself and others.
As I forgive, I change my thoughts, words and actions, re-experiencing my oneness with the Divine.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.—Matthew 6:12

Divine Order - Friday, November 16, 2012 | Daily Word

Divine Order - Friday, November 16, 2012 | Daily Word: "Divine Order
I ALLOW DIVINE IDEAS TO MANIFEST INTO FULL EXPRESSION.
When I plant a seed, I imagine the harvest to come. Then, as I gather the harvest, I remember the seed and acknowledge the many stages of orderly growth and change from the time of sowing to the time of reaping.

Divine order underlies creation in all its forms. Whether I plant a garden in my yard or plant seed thoughts in my own mind, I rely on divine order to bring about fruition.

I carefully choose the thoughts I hold, for I know they produce after their kind. I let go of unwanted thoughts that may crowd in, and instead anticipate a bountiful harvest of opportunities to come. I give my garden of ideas time to grow, knowing they will mature into full expression in due time.

The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.—Mark 4:28"

Faith - Thursday, November 15, 2012 | Daily Word

Faith - Thursday, November 15, 2012 | Daily Word: "Faith
FAITH IS MY WAY TO WELLNESS.
If a health challenge leaves me fraught with worry, faith is my bridge from despair to hope. Faith assures me of something more than my eyes can see or my mind can conceive. Regardless of appearances, I have faith in the power of God within to heal me. Step by step, thought by thought, I affirm this truth. My body knows how to heal and my healing has already begun.

I place my faith in the God Presence. Being gentle with myself, I wait until I am ready to take the next step in my healing journey. Relief and release carry me forward. Hope grows and worry falls behind. I take a new step in faith, envisioning myself whole and well, and according to my faith, it is done. Faith is my way to wellness.

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.”—Matthew 9:29"

Understanding - Wednesday, November 14, 2012 | Daily Word: "Understanding
I OPEN MY MIND AND HEART TO NEW UNDERSTANDING.
Misunderstandings often erupt between people who hold differing convictions. As I grow in spiritual awareness, I recognize that the answer to every dispute requires a deeper understanding of our true nature. Attuned to the presence of God within all people, I realize we all want the same things: security, safety, abundance, wholeness, opportunities, love, respect and peace of mind and heart.

The more clearly I understand my own connection with Spirit, the better I understand the desires and needs of others. Through a deeper awareness of Oneness, I find ways to foster peace within my family, cooperation at work, oneness in my community and harmony in our world.

Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.–Psalm 119:34"
