Forgiveness
I FORGIVE AND AM HEALED—HEART, MIND AND SOUL.
Forgiveness is a powerful practice, and it can change my life for good. When the pain of past injustices arises in my mind, I invite forgiveness into my heart. Even if I don’t know how to forgive, I am willing. Through the spirit of God within me, I have the power to leave the past behind and accept the full joy of the present. I allow divine love to heal me—heart, mind and soul. The peace I receive assures me it is done.
Past pain is dispelled as I welcome new joy into my life. Peace and love prevail as I create new memories. With an open heart, I am changed for the better. My mind is free of judgment and negativity. The love of God works in and through me. I know that as I forgive, I am also forgiven.
Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.—Luke 11:4

Inner Peace
I TURN WITHIN TO THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND FIND TRUE PEACE.
If I feel anxious about world events, I can make an important choice: I can focus on evidence of discord or I can focus on peace.
As I turn within to the Presence of peace in me, I remember that the peace of God is also within my loved ones and everyone affected by world events. I see each of us opening our hearts to God’s peace.
As I connect deeply with God in prayer, I also connect with the presence of God in others. My thoughts are focused on peace, helping me be a constructive force for good.
Prayer clears my mind and heart of any fear, allowing me to see where I can make a positive difference. My trust in God expands, and I hold the high watch for all of humanity.
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:26

Free
I AM FREE TO DECIDE HOW I RESPOND TO LIFE.
When an obstacle blocks a stream, the water finds a way to flow over, under or around it. Sometimes the stream gathers strength and moves with force and speed through narrow passages. Other times it collects and rests in shallow places. I am free to choose the course of my life’s stream and to determine the flow of my life.
When I rest in the Silence, it may not look as if any forward movement is occurring. Nevertheless, I am tapping into a wellspring of spiritual resources and gathering strength to maneuver around any obstacles that may arise. I have what I need to move through the tight spaces in my life. I can access peaceful pools of stillness or move at a brisk pace. I choose the flow that best suits me.
Set me free and rescue me from the mighty waters.—Psalm 144:7

I SHARE MY GIFTS AND NURTURE MY RELATIONSHIPS.
Today I bring joy to others by sharing my time, talent and treasure. A phone call can brighten a loved one’s day. A personal visit to share a meal or enjoy conversation can make an enormous difference.
When I connect with people of other ages, memories arise and my view of the world broadens. As we share our joys, challenges and interests, we know each other at a deeper level. Spending time with people I care about uplifts both them and me.
My life is blessed with many relationships. In nurturing them, I express my Christ nature. I am a loving being, here to be a loving presence. By giving of myself, I feel the warmth and glow of divine love in me, the joy of connecting heart to heart.
They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.—1 Timothy 6:18

Guidance
I AM GUIDED FROM WITHIN.
Whether I face major or minor decisions, the guidance I need is readily available. I may read what experts advise, listen to the opinions of friends and family, or gather data to inform my choices. But most important, I turn within for prayer.
I go apart for a time in the Silence, mindfully releasing any tension in my body and bringing spaciousness to any worrisome thoughts.
I surrender the situation at hand, and with gratitude, I invite divine guidance to be revealed. I listen to the whisper of my heart, which is always life-affirming, loving and good. As I turn within to the source of divine guidance, my way becomes clear.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me with honor.—Psalm 73:24

Divine Order - Friday, September 07, 2012 | Daily Word

Divine Order
I LIVE IN HARMONY WITH GOD, AND MY LIFE IS IN ORDER.
If I have been experiencing disorder in my life, I make finding quiet time with God my top priority. I align my thoughts with the presence of God. I put aside any concerns and allow myself to feel with every fiber of my being that I am one with God—that I am loved and that my life is precious and valuable. I rest in this realization until it is established in my heart and mind.
As I acknowledge my oneness with God, I recognize that my life is in order. How could it be any other way? Whether I perceive it or not, divine order is moving through all life, in and through me and every circumstance I encounter. Aligning myself with divine order establishes harmony and peace. How good it is to live in harmony with God!
His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness.—2 Peter 1:3

Ephesians 5:9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Ephesians 5:9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
For the fruit of the Spirit,.... Either of the spirit of man, as renewed, or rather of the Spirit of God; the allusion is to fruits of trees: the believer is a tree of righteousness; Christ is his root; the Spirit is the sap, which supports and nourishes; and good works, under the influence of his grace, are the fruit: the Alexandrian copy, and some others, and the Vulgate Latin, Syriac, and Ethiopic versions, read "the fruit of light"; which agrees with the preceding words: and the genuine fruit of internal grace, or light,
is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth; the fruit of "goodness", lies in sympathizing with persons in distress; in assisting such according to the abilities men have in a readiness to forgive offences and injuries; and in using meekness and candour in admonishing others: "righteousness" lies in living in obedience to the law of God; in attending the worship and service of him; and in discharging our duty to our fellow creatures; and this as goodness, is very imperfect, and not to be boasted of, or trusted to, nor is salvation to be expected from it: "truth" is opposed to lying, to hypocrisy, to error and falsehood; and where the Spirit of God, and the work of grace are, there will be more or less an appearance of these fruits
