Joy
THE JOY OF CHRIST FILLS MY HEART.
When my joy emanates from the Christ within, it is steadfast, consistent and imbued with power. The Christ, the Spirit of joy enthroned in my heart, brings eternal joy and happiness. Joy radiates from the center of my being to the outer reaches of my world. External conditions cannot dampen this joy, for it has its foundation and substance in God. Pure joy shines with rays of gladness.
I keep my joy active by expressing it, by daily drawing more of its essence from God, the source of all joy. I let my joy shine into the world to bless others. The joy of the Christ is mine now and always.
Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.—2 Corinthians 2:14

Connected
I AM CONNECTED TO GOD AND ALL PEOPLE.
All people share a connection. We breathe the same air; feel the warmth of the same sun; share life on the same planet. Our paths are connected in ways both seen and unseen. The food on my table may have come from a farm nearby, from across the country or from across the world. Similarly, new technology allows me to connect with loved ones or strangers faraway.
As humans we also share in feelings of happiness and sadness, peace and frustration. We are one in God, connected in Spirit.
Knowing we are one, I demonstrate empathy toward others. I am understanding, compassionate and willing to listen. Whatever I do, wherever I am, I am connected to God and all people.
Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.—Matthew 28:20

Turn Around
I HAVE THE POWER TO TURN MY LIFE AROUND!
If my life is not as I wish it to be, I remind myself that I am one with God, and in God, I have the power to turn my life around.
Instead of lamenting any perceived shortcomings, I focus on my strengths. I exchange thoughts of lack with gratitude. I am an unlimited being, living in an unlimited universe, experiencing good in unlimited ways.
I trade disagreement for love. Barriers collapse as I direct loving thoughts and words toward those with whom I’ve felt contention. I affirm my oneness with the Spirit of all people.
My positive thoughts are focused on the animating God-energy circulating in my life and affairs. My life is turned around for the better.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you.—Psalm 19:14

Rest
I REST FROM MY LABORS; I AM RESTORED AND REFRESHED.
Throughout the week, I may be busy and productive. Yet the creation story in the Book of Genesis reminds me that a time of rest is also important.
Rest restores balance to my body and my mind. I offset physical labor with sleep, as well as exercise and play. I release mental tension by setting aside any struggle or strife and allowing the peace of God to renew my spirit.
I rest from work and from worry and concern. I nurture my body and refresh my mind. As I daydream and play, the restorative power of God revitalizes me.
Fully rested, I open to inspiration and resume my work with renewed enthusiasm.
So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.—Genesis 2:3

Wholeness
THROUGH THE HEALING POWER OF GRATITUDE, I AM WHOLE.
Whatever I appreciate, appreciates. I give thanks for the blessing of my body, and the perfect Life within each cell and atom is called forth.
As I see my body whole and healthy, those qualities are manifest. I give thanks for Spirit expressing through the wondrous network of my body temple.
I give thanks for the joy in my life, and I call forth the perfect Love of God in me. Love radiates throughout my being to heal any wounds, revealing my innate wholeness.
I give thanks for abundance in my life, and I call forth infinite supply. I am blessed this day and grateful to the Giver of all gifts. My life is whole and complete.
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.—Luke 17:15

Let Go, Let God
I LET GO AND LET GOD WORK IN AND THROUGH ME.
Perseverance serves me well when I am determined to achieve a particular goal. The power of my mind and body help me succeed. Nevertheless, I draw on divine discernment to know when to keep pushing and when to let things unfold on their own.
I let go and let God work in and through me, guiding me to right actions and outcomes. Sometimes I take the lead, and other times, I allow events to transpire as they will.
Surrendering to God opens me to an inflow of divine ideas, substance and life. I find inner strength that preserves my energy and inspires new ways of accomplishing my goals. By letting go and letting God, I live with ease and grace, accomplishing what is mine to do.
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.—Zechariah 4:6
