Daily Word The Joy of Jesus

Home | Daily Word: "CELEBRATE LIFE
I am a joyful expression of life!
This morning I awoke grateful for another day and ready to celebrate life. No special occasion is needed for this celebration. I express the joy of living--right where I am, just as I am. I have everything I need. Today as I acknowledge and honor the Creator and all of creation in my words and actions, I celebrate life with heartfelt appreciation.

Living in a world of divine creativity, I see divinity everywhere I turn. Life is sacred, and I revere and respect every expression of it. Whether I am examining the delicate construction of a flower or gazing into the face of a loved one, I celebrate the presence and power of God that unites us all. What joy it is to be and experience divine life expressing!

Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.--Romans 12:10"

August 13, 2011 - King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made . 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe . 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born , not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried , saying , This was he of whom I spake , He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received , and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Daily Word The Joy of Jesus

Home | Daily Word: "POTENTIAL
I am born anew with spiritual promise and potential.
We rejoice when a newborn enters the world. In awe, we see that radiant being for the first time, full of promise and potential. As children learn to talk and interact with the world, we love and nurture them. We encourage them as they reach each new developmental milestone.

Each human being is on a journey. As our bodies grow and mature, we also mature psychologically and spiritually. Our inner growth comes as we gain awareness of ourselves as spiritual beings. I grow spiritually as I become aware of the divine spark within. Regardless of my physical age, I awaken to my true potential as a powerful co-creator and grow into my full spiritual promise.

You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.--1 Peter 1:23"

Are you concerned about the quality of life as you know it? Is there a hidden fear that makes life seem uncertain? These concerns are rather normal given the media's bleeds it leads policy. However, Jesus understood these situations and delivered a solution.

What can we do to address the whole notion of fear? The answer is clear. We must as The Apostle Paul suggested that we build up the inner person. In other words, our focus is to concentrate on Jesus. Can this really help?

When Jesus walked in the water; Peter did so as well. Yet, when dear, Peter took his mind off of Jesus he began to sink. Why?

If we want to be stronger we must grow in The Lord of our Salvation. We must continue to pray, read our Bibles and stay focused on Jesus. These are the things we can do to reduce fear and build up our faith. Jesus died on the cross so that we may live in perfect peace with Him. He rose from the grave and will return. Let us pray for the day.

2 Corinthians 12:1-21 "It is not expedient for me..." KJV - Online Bible Study

2 Corinthians 12:1-21 "It is not expedient for me..." KJV - Online Bible Study It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory . I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell ; or whetherout of the body, I cannot tell : God knoweth ;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And Iknew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell : God knoweth ;) 4 Howthat he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a manto utter . 5 Of such an one will I glory : yet of myself I will not glory , but in mine infirmities. 6 Forthough I would desire to glory , I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear , lestany man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 Andlest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was givento me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted abovemeasure . 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he saidunto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladlytherefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distressesfor Christ's sake: for when I am weak , then am I strong. 11 I am become a fool in glorying ; yehave compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles , though I be nothing. 12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought amongyou in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. 13 For what is it wherein ye wereinferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me thiswrong. 14 Behold , the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you:for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parentsfor the children. 15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you ; though the more abundantlyI love you, the less I be loved . 16 But be it so , I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, Icaught you with guile. 17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you? 18 Idesired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in thesame spirit? walked we not in the same steps? 19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves untoyou? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. 20 ForI fear , lest , when I come , I shall not find you such as I would , and that I shall be found unto yousuch as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: 21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already , and have not repented of the uncleanness andfornication and lasciviousness which they have committed .

Home | Daily Word: "PRESENT MOMENT
Centered in the present moment, I claim my power.
When a question or worry is on my mind, I may be tempted to focus on troubles of the past or concerns for the future, but this attention would rob me of the power of the now moment. Instead, I stay present.

I quiet my mind and become fully aware of all this moment has to teach me. All the wisdom I need is here, now. My thoughts may drift to the past or future, but I needn't remain there. I can choose instead to immerse myself in the power of the present moment. It is here that I connect with divine wisdom.

Anchored in the here and now, I find the answers I seek. My decisions are wise and thoughtful, because I am grounded and centered. Right here and now, I claim my power.

See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!--2 Corinthians 6:2"
