TODAY, I CHOOSE TO BE FREE.
Freedom is a state of being beyond external circumstances. I can experience freedom regardless of what I see outside myself. I choose to be positive in my thoughts and feelings, attitudes and perceptions. By choosing to focus on the good, I am free.
I release negative thoughts and emotions, and feel lighter in mind, body, and soul. I nurture my mind with ideas of health and well-being and experience the freedom of a balanced and productive life. My outlook is positive—I expect only good.
Freedom is a choice, a state of mind. By holding positive thoughts and feelings, I experience life to the fullest. Today I choose to be optimistic. Today I choose my freedom.

AS I LIVE IN HARMONY, I AM AN AGENT FOR PEACE.
I am in harmony with Spirit in mind, body, and soul. As I experience wholeness and express it in my unique way, I become an agent for peace in the world.
Spirit is the essence of my being, the I Am expressing individually as me. My body is the vehicle to carry Spirit into the world. As I align myself with Christ within, thoughts of wholeness fill my mind, my body experiences balance, and I feel aliveness in my soul. If I experience disharmony or disease, I pause to recenter my thoughts and focus on Spirit.
In harmony with God, I affect my outer environment positively. Aligned with Divine Love—in mind, body, and soul—I speak and act in the world from the peaceful, loving center of my being.
You also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God.—Ephesians 2:22

Grace - Thursday, November 13, 2014 | Daily Word
I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE GRACE OF GOD’S EVER-PRESENT UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
God’s grace is my divine inheritance; I was born with it. I am as God created me—a perfect and unique expression of the Divine. Only if I give power to doubt or fear can I experience separation from God. When I am centered in the unconditional love of God, I live in grace and Oneness.
Jesus exemplified grace by demonstrating unconditional love. Through his Christ nature, he saw the Divine in all people, even those excluded by others. Like Jesus, I believe the Christ nature—the presence of God—lives in me and in every being. As I release any doubts of God’s love, I accept and celebrate the divine nature in me and in all.
As I fully live in God’s grace, I experience the Truth of God’s perfect love.
The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.—John 1:17

World Peace
AS I LIVE IN PEACE, I BRING PEACE TO OTHERS.
When I put God first in my life, I know only peace. When the unconditional love of God fills my thoughts, it leaves no space for separation or judgment. When I see others through the eyes of peace and love, I contribute to world peace.
If discord arises within or around me, I pray to reconnect with the Truth: I live in the peace and love of God. This right thinking illumines my thoughts and prevails over disharmony.
I begin my day by thanking God for the peace in me. Before I go to sleep, I acknowledge that peace also lies within everyone on earth. I affirm: Our minds and hearts are together in peace, and world peace prevails.
The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust.—Isaiah 32:17

Divine Order - Saturday, November 08, 2014 | Daily Word
I GIVE THANKS FOR DIVINE ORDER AT WORK IN AND AROUND ME.
Rain falls onto the earth, is heated by the sun, and rises as steam to form clouds. When the clouds get heavy, they break open and water falls again. This cycle supports life, growth, and harvest.
Divine order is evident in countless cycles of nature and within me. My day begins as I awaken from restful sleep and ends when I again seek rest and renewal. My body functions in orderly rhythms: the rise and fall of each breath, the steadiness of my heartbeat, my processes of nutrition and circulation. God’s work is everywhere.
I embrace divine order in me and around me by affirming it, thinking positively, and expecting good results.
The rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth.–Isaiah 55:10

I AM ATTUNED TO THE WISDOM OF GOD.
Spirit’s guidance may come at any time, even when I am not seeking it. I stay receptive to divine communication through nudges and ideas. I may read and feel inspired or receive an invitation for an adventure. When guidance comes from Spirit, I hear something inside me say “Yes!”
I trust God’s guidance to push me past any resistance from old ways of thinking. I release any thoughts of limitation or fear. Whether I have been planning my next step carefully or feel suddenly called, I confidently step beyond the familiar into new growth. I gain greater awareness of what is mine to do and follow Spirit’s direction with enthusiasm. As I do, I welcome abundant and joyful blessings. I walk in trust, ready to follow God’s guidance.

I AM A CENTER OF PEACE.
When I think of inner peace, I picture the eye of a hurricane. Even with the swirling chaos and turmoil, its center is calm and undisturbed. As I turn to the peaceful presence of God within me, I experience tranquility regardless of outer circumstances.
Inner peace comes from faith, intention, and focus. I have faith in God as my source of inner peace. I set my intention to experience serenity in my relationships and interactions. My thoughts and attitudes are focused on peace. With this practice, I experience inner stillness, a calm deep within where nothing can disturb me. I am in the “eye” of the storm. I am the peace that stands secure and strong in the awareness of God.
The priest replied, “Go in peace. The mission you are on is under the eye of the Lord.”—Judges 18:6

Rooted in God - Wednesday, November 05, 2014 | Daily Word
ROOTED IN GOD, I AM PEACEFUL, COURAGEOUS, AND STRONG.
Every fiber of my being is divine substance. I am made in the image and likeness of God. I may look like a separate part of the whole, but underneath my human nature is the vastness of Spirit. I am a wave that belongs to the ocean.
I am never separate from God because God is everywhere present. Worry and anxiety are signs I have forgotten this Truth. To remember it, I pause, feel my breath, and meditate. I may start by being aware of body sensations—my heartbeat, my feet on the ground. In God, I breathe and live. I am part of the ocean of existence. Everything outside and inside me is God.
As I focus on Divine Intelligence, I let go of any concerns. Rooted in God, I live in Oneness and peace.
Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.—1 Corinthians 16:13

I AM WHOLE AND WELL IN MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.
When electrical equipment malfunctions, I first check to see whether it is plugged in. Similarly, when I experience dysfunction or disease in mind or body, I check whether I am “plugged in” to God. If I have harbored faulty ideas, I let them go. If I have given power to beliefs of disharmony or sickness, I disconnect from those thoughts and reconnect to Truth.
Established in right thinking, I allow the light of Truth to heal and transform me. As I experience healing from the inside out, I feel great ease and aliveness. I deeply trust life’s divine and perfect unfolding. No matter where I am in my healing process, I know that perfection and wholeness are my Truth. God is my health and well-being.

I CLAIM MY DIVINE INHERITANCE THROUGH POWERFUL AFFIRMATIONS.
I claim my good knowing it is already mine. Unity cofounder Myrtle Fillmore declared, “I am a child of God and therefore I do not inherit sickness.” She claimed her health despite a diagnosis of tuberculosis. Myrtle stayed focused through daily prayer, affirming words of praise and encouragement to her body. She continued to declare health as the truth of her being, until her body responded and the good she claimed was fully manifest.
I claim my good by declaring aloud the truth of my divine inheritance: I am loving and loved. I am prospered by Divine Ideas. I am healthy and whole. I feel the power of my affirmations. Regardless of outer appearances, I call forth my good through the power of my words.
Pray that I may declare it boldly, as I must speak.—Ephesians 6:20

I AM OPEN TO A GREATER AWARENESS OF GOD WITHIN.
Meditation restores my soul and re-energizes me. As I turn to the quiet within, I breathe deeply and relax.
I clear my mind of all conscious thoughts. Each one is like a leaf gently floating downstream. I may focus on a word or phrase as a mantra of peace. As I become still, my mind and heart open to a greater awareness of God.
In the stillness, peace and love surround me. I transcend the external world and enter a light-filled space of tranquility and understanding, where I receive the blessings of God.
As I close my time in meditation, I gently pull myself back from the solitude of the Silence. I gradually become aware of sounds around me. Revitalized, centered, and peaceful, I return to the activities of the day.
The meditation of my heart shall be understanding.—Psalm 49:3

I AM STRONG OF HEART, COURAGEOUS,AND TRIUMPHANT.
I may possess great physical strength, mental capacity, or both. However, neither of these is the source of my true power. Only the presence of God in my heart brings the steadfast courage and fortitude to overcome any challenge.
I find my inner strength when I connect with God in the Silence. Spirit within encourages me to be loving, authentic, and brave. I live fearlessly in each moment as God inspires me to move forward with confidence and zeal. I welcome each new challenge as an adventure, with a sense of gratitude and joy.
Heartened by Spirit, I accomplish all that is mine to do with deep assurance. I do not merely survive and endure difficulties, I thrive! Through Spirit within, I live triumphantly!

I MOVE FORWARD INTO GREATER GOOD.
When we stand at the end of one life experience—the conclusion of a job or relationship, moving away from home, graduating from school, or retiring from a career—we remember that every ending is also a beginning. Saying goodbye to what has been, we welcome what will be.
We may be tempted to keep looking back, but once we turn our eyes to the path ahead, we find new opportunities awaiting us. We are beginning a new phase of life, a new way of fulfilling our purpose, a new way of serving God and the world.
In truth, we don’t leave anything behind; we carry it with us. As we bless our past, we build on all we have learned and continue on our life’s unfolding journey.
Forgetting what lies behind … I press on toward the goal.—Philippians 3:13-14

I AM A PEACEMAKER IN THE WORLD.
One of the most vital messages Jesus shared was a simple invitation to be a peacemaker: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Every person is created of God with the potential to be a peacemaker. We have spiritual power and through our peaceful thoughts, words, and actions, we can create a peaceful world.
Whatever may be occurring—near to me or across the globe—I maintain an awareness of peace. The peace of God can be known and recognized in all situations and is brought into expression as serenity, trust, goodwill, and friendship. Through prayer, I strengthen my practice of peace. I think peace, speak peace, and act in ways that foster peace. I am a peacemaker.
Blessed are the peacemakers.—Matthew 5:9

Open the Door
MY GRATITUDE OPENS THE DOOR TO BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS.
Praise and thanksgiving have the power to increase our experience of good. Charles Fillmore once wrote that travelers quickly learn that “praise and thanks melt the hardest heart and often open the door to amazing hospitality.” The prophets knew the power of thanksgiving, as “Praise the Lord” is frequently repeated in the Psalms.
On my journey through life, I recognize the power of appreciation. I praise every part of my body, and I am energized with greater health and vitality. I pay my bills with gratitude in the divine flow of giving and receiving. As I bless others, I unlock the door to greater love and harmony in my relationships. Through gratitude, I open wide the door to Spirit’s infinite bounty.
Celebrate with all the bounty that the Lord your God has given to you.—Deuteronomy 26:11

I DEMONSTRATE MY FAITH IN EVERY THOUGHT, WORD, AND ACTION.
I am firmly rooted in the knowledge that God is my source. Faith is my foundation. Nothing can shake my steadfast faith.
If any condition seems to have power over me, I return to the one Truth: God and I are one. If God cannot be moved, I cannot be moved. I cannot fail, because I am one with God, the Perfect, the Infallible, the Creator.
I demonstrate my faith in every thought, word, and action. I use positive language and stand strong in the face of adversity.
Because my foundation of faith is solid, nothing can knock me off center. Just as a great redwood stands tall and strong, I root myself deeply in my faith. I am strong. I am invincible. I am faith-filled.

Desire
MY DEEPEST DESIRE IS TO KNOW GOD.
Anew pair of shoes, a new job, or even a passionate relationship may capture my attention for a time. I may consider these the objects of my desire for a while and even revel in them, but there is a longing within me that cannot be satisfied by anything in the outer world.
My deepest desire is to know God. I experience God in meditation, in nature, and in the loving embrace of others. God’s presence is found in the fluidity of the present moment. When I focus on the experience of God, I am one with everything—other people, nature, the sun and stars. I am as ancient as the Universe and as new as the dawn. My desire to know God leads me to oneness, and I am at peace.
Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you.—Psalm 73:25
