THE SPIRITUAL ETHERS ARE FILLED WITH PLENTY. I AM PROSPEROUS!

In one of his early lesson series, Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore introduced a set of affirmations to be repeated daily in the Silence: The spiritual ethers are filled with plenty; prosperity fills the air, and I have abundance for every need!

Following Fillmore’s example, I repeat these affirmations three times, unifying myself with the manifesting power of the Divine within. I then turn my attention inward and silently let the prayer permeate my consciousness and transform any thoughts of lack.

As affirmations of plenty inhabit the deepest part of me, I attract and embrace bountiful blessings. I draw forth from the ethers prosperity that fills my life!

I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied.—Philippians 4:18

Many athletes succeed because, along with consistent practice, they picture themselves performing to the best of their ability. They visualize crossing the finish line, hitting a home run, or scoring the game-winning point.

When I have a weighty task before me, I picture myself completing it successfully. My practice sessions include prayer and meditation as I tap into the unlimited power, strength, and wisdom of God within.

Athletes are victorious because they give it their all. As I reach for my goals, I pursue them with perseverance and optimism. I visualize success, stay attuned to Source, and I am victorious!

Do not fear, for I am with you … I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.—Isaiah 41:10

I AM A DIVINE BEING IN THE CONSTANT FLOW OF LIFE.

Divine energy moves in and through all of life. I experience this flow as Life itself through my breath, ideas, creativity, health, and wholeness. Life is an unceasing river of good.

Throughout my day, I am conscious of this stream of divine energy as I focus on every blessing I receive—a friend’s message, a hug, a lesson. I am energized and empowered. I am in the flow.

Conscious of ways I may be blocking the flow of good, I adjust my outlook from concern to confidence. A change in attitude can make the difference between failure and success. Grateful for the energy and power of Life, I am a divine being in the flow.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.—Revelation 22:1

ONE WITH SPIRIT, I AM COMFORTED.

God’s love is the soothing salve that relieves my pain. Any wounds of mind, body, or spirit are healed by the presence of God. Even if I feel grief or suffering, I know I am not alone. I need only turn my attention to the Presence within me.

Whatever happens in my life, God provides what I need—wisdom, strength, and support. I am gently eased through this situation one moment at a time. The presence of God reassures me that I am safe and secure.

God is present in every breath I breathe and every beat of my heart. No thought or experience can ever separate us. One with Spirit, I am comforted at depth.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.—Psalm 46:1-2

THE GRACE OF GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME A WAY OF LIFE THAT IS ALTOGETHER GOOD.

The grace of God is not something that we must earn by making sacrifices or doing penance. It is a free, wholesome, impartial gift from God that none of us can escape. Even the most forsaken soul may cherish the hope of infinite grace.

The grace of God is more than mercy. It is complete forgiveness and full, unbounded love. It offers redemption from unholy thinking and living to every person who will accept it. Through grace, God reveals the true nature of the Divine within each person.

Abiding under divine grace, you are spiritually secure and your steady, unimpeded progress into the kingdom of perfection and all good is assured. The grace of God opens to you the swift, glorious, positive way of Truth.

For by grace have ye been saved … it is the gift of God.—Ephesians 2:8

TRUE ANSWERS ARE REVEALED AS I QUIET MY MIND AND OPEN MY HEART.

Albert Einstein is said to have asserted, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Rather than provide a solution, some thinking may even perpetuate my problems. If I catch myself repeatedly mulling over a problem, I pause. I release the struggle and relax. For every life question in my mind, there is a Divine answer in my heart.

The place from which my problems are solved lies deep within me—where wisdom lives. Resting in my heart, I perceive the presence of wisdom and activate it simply by becoming aware of it. I shift my attention from a busy mind to my knowing heart. All worries dissipate. All struggles cease. In Divine time, the answers come.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.–Luke 12:34

On Time

I GO WITH THE FLOW OF TIME.

I live in an orderly universe where seasons change and new life emerges at the appointed time, where flowers bloom and apples ripen as designed and where I accomplish what is mine to do easily and naturally.

I need only look to nature for assurance that there is “a time for every matter under heaven.” In the summer, leaves do not rush to turn to gold and fruit does not hurry to fall from the tree. Nature is in concert with the rhythm of life.

Pacing myself, I willingly flow with life, and I find peace. I am not rushed. I meet my goals and maintain my health. I stay mindful of what is important to me and seek balance in all endeavors. With gratitude, I am fully present to this moment in time.

For he has appointed a time for every matter, and for every work.–Ecclesiastes 3:17

I CHOOSE THOUGHTS THAT PRODUCE GOOD.

Thoughts continuously pass through my mind. I pause for a moment and see them as captions on a screen. I notice those that are kind, loving, and creative. They are the foundation for positive action in my life. Healthy thoughts create healthy habits.

If I am having hopeless or hostile thoughts, I refuse to give them any power. I notice these thoughts, but I know they are not the Truth. I open to God’s healing energy to relieve any fear behind the negative thinking. I affirm: I open my mind to Spirit, and I am illumined by divine ideas.

Life-affirming, Spirit-filled thoughts create positive energy in all my affairs. As I choose loving and creative thoughts, I witness the good that results.

I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray with the mind also.—1 Corinthians 14:15

CLAIMING MY DIVINE POWER, I AM ABLE TO DO ANYTHING.

My human nature may sometimes focus on limits and doubts, believing some challenges are too difficult to overcome. However, I am also a spiritual being and the power of Spirit is available to me the instant I claim it. My faith in the Divine within empowers me to go beyond my doubts and aim higher than ever before.

To build my confidence, I contemplate inspiring stories. David’s faith allowed him to conquer the giant Goliath. Daniel’s faith shut the mouths of the lions and delivered him safely out of the den.

My faith gives me confidence, courage, and clarity. I am able to accomplish all that is mine to do.

For he is the living God, enduring forever … He delivers and rescues, he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth.—Daniel 6:26-27

TODAY, AND EVERY DAY, I CELEBRATE MY FREEDOM!

Who is in charge of my freedom? I am! I have been given the gift of free will. I alone choose how I will live. I alone choose my attitude. I am free to choose the thoughts I think and to speak the words I wish to speak. I can choose to rest in the Silence, where I meet with Spirit and receive guidance. If ever I feel restricted or constrained, I affirm: The Spirit of the Lord is in me, and I am free!

If I am unhappy or feeling unfulfilled, I am free to make a new choice. I choose to let go of limiting thoughts. Instead, I imagine my highest good and my limitless possibilities. I choose how I spend my time and set priorities accordingly. I live the best life I can. Today, and every day, I celebrate my freedom!

I AM A PERPETUAL WINNER IN LOVE.

In the children’s game of hide-and-seek, at least one player is hidden while another is seeking to find those in hiding, often with excited anticipation. Usually the person hiding is found amid shrieks of joy.

In the game of love, I don’t need to hide or seek. The truth is I am always found by love, and this is a joyful discovery. Love is here, inside me. I am a perpetual winner in love.

Whether love manifests as friendship, romance, service, or simply a warm feeling, it reminds me that the infinite love of God is with me always. I am loved beyond measure, and I share this love with others, unconditionally. I need not seek, nor can I hide from love. Love is present here and now, and I carry it in my heart.

IN HEAVEN WITHIN, I FIND ALL THE JOYS I HAVE SOUGHT IN HEAVEN WITHOUT.

When you find the inner kingdom, you will discover that it contains all you have anticipated finding in some external or far-away heaven. Here and now you can live the life of harmony and joy you expected to live at some distant time and place. By reaching spiritual consciousness, by finding the kingdom of heaven within, you can enjoy heaven right here.

What are the glories of heaven? Perfect understanding and the seeing of all things in their proper relationship. Your inheritance from God is heavenly joys. You receive these through consciousness. If your consciousness is right, time and place do not matter to you. If you have a consciousness of heaven here and now, you will enjoy heaven here and now.

I MEET MY LIFE WITH A BRIGHT OUTLOOK. LIFE IS GOOD.

Life is good and beautiful. When I look at the world with optimism, my heart is light, my smile is bright, and my day is full of good cheer.

On any given day, the sky may be filled with clouds instead of sunshine, but I decide whether to name the weather “good” or “bad.” Even if clouds are in the way, the sun is always shining!

Similarly, I choose how to view the changing conditions of my life. If sickness appears, wholeness is still my underlying truth. Behind any experience of lack lies an ever-expanding source of wealth. I always look for the good in life, even when it is hidden. I affirm the positive and call it forth. I meet my life with optimism!

A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.—Proverbs 17:22

My faith in the constructive, restoring, and rebuilding power of God within me ignites my healing and recovery. My faith strengthens me and empowers me to overcome mishaps or misjudgments and to make new choices that expand my life in positive ways.

Through the power and presence of God, I have the ability to recover from health issues, financial difficulties, or habits that have been harmful to me. I don’t shrink from life’s challenges; instead, I rise to them. I make choices that help me live a healthier and happier life.

I AM ONE WITH SPIRIT, ONE WITH JOY.

Nothing surpasses the joy of Spirit; nothing is stronger than the indwelling Divine Presence.

Joy is always available, regardless of outer conditions, other people, or adverse circumstances. If I ever lose touch with inner joy, if I ever feel discouraged that life does not seem to be going my way, I simply bring myself back to center. I look within to find that joy has never left me. I am loved. I am strong. I am one with God in every way. My sense of joy returns as I allow my consciousness to rise to an awareness of Spirit’s unmovable presence and power.

Joy is as natural to me as breathing and smiling, because Spirit is with and within me at all times.

DIVINE PEACE CALMS MY MIND AND LIFTS MY SPIRIT.

I declare peace in my life today by choosing peace-filled thoughts. If I have been dwelling on worries, regrets, or deadlines, I stop, take a breath, and imagine a tranquil scene. I see myself sitting by the ocean, taking a walk in the woods, or meditating in a quiet, sacred space. My body relaxes and any tension fades into nothingness.

I bless myself with these moments of peace, which lift my spirit, enhance my creativity, and focus my mind. Remaining attuned to divine peace, I am undisturbed in any circumstance. As peace emanates from within, I impart calm and composure to the situations of my life. My serenity spreads to others. Peace begets peace.

I AM AGLOW WITH VIBRANT LIFE.

To function at optimum health, I nourish myself with nutritious food and drink, plenty of exercise, and time for renewal and rest. Such care and attention feels good in the moment and pays dividends for years to come.

My healthy body knows exactly what to do, and I support it. I voice encouraging and uplifting words to and about myself, rather than criticism or fear. Whether positive or negative, the thoughts and words I tell myself also feed my body. Positive self-talk invigorates and supports my intention to maintain a vibrant, healthy body.

I am physically and spiritually alive and well. I am wonderfully aglow with light, life, and vitality.
