Praise God for whom all blessings flow,

Jesus is Lord from The Joy of Jesus
Jesus is The Answer, for He is Lord...
Jesus Christ claimed to be the Son of God; a Savior for all people who choose to believe in Him. The fact that Jesus claimed to be the Messiah is not unique in history. Many people have claimed to be sent by God throughout history. Acts 5:36 references a man named Theudas who claimed to be: "somebody" that people followed. Others include, Mohammed. The life and coming of Jesus was predicted hundreds of years before He was born in the book of Isaiah. He fulfilled this prophecy and many others written before His birth to the Virgin Mary. Jesus had many unique qualities that the others who claimed to be the messiah could not match; Jesus Christ overcame death on the cross and was resurrected to be with His Father in heaven. Further examples of why Jesus is Lord include, His ability to overcome temptation living a sinless and perfect life along with His abilities to perform documented miracles in the name of God.
As one of the most popular Bible verses, John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
As Colossians 1:15 says, "He [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." Jesus provides eternal hope, through God's grace, for everyone who believes He is Lord.
God loves the world and all He has created. However, people have chosen to separate from God through our sins. Jesus provides the bridge for us to receive God's grace of forgiveness for our sins and fulfill the hope of eternal life. This was the purpose of Jesus Christ and why Jesus is Lord. God sent Jesus to earth over 2000 years ago to set the example of how God desires everyone to live while on earth. He completed His purpose by willingly being crucified so God could be glorified through His resurrection. He lived His life while here on earth in perfect obedience to God regardless of the pain and suffering it entailed which included beatings, humiliation, doubt, ridicule, and finally ultimate execution with His limbs pierced and pinned to a cross.
Jesus led a life that was completely obedient to God; something we cannot do regardless how hard we try through our will power or by the level of wisdom we possess. Everyone has sinned except Christ; He was perfect in love. This is only something God can be. Jesus performed over 23 documented and witnessed miracles over nature, overcoming death and powers of healing that have never been matched or done in the history of the world. Jesus had powers that only God could possess. He had the ability to predict the future as indicated in the book of Mark, verse 14:72 and the book of Matthew, verse 16:18. Jesus honored God throughout every event in His life. He was humble and gentle mirroring God's Spirit. This is further proof why Jesus is Lord. There is no other faith in the world that can provide the evidence that Jesus is the Lord. Jesus still lives in heaven at the right hand of God. We cannot see Him, but must rely on the documented facts and His message of salvation for all who believe in Him. When choose to place our faith in Jesus Christ and trust God, He has promised to secure a place in heaven for each of us.

The Joy of Jesus is Transformational
Christ was transfigured before them.
The word “transfigured" means to change, transfigure, transform.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Christians are changed-renewed from within from glory to glory. Our transformation is a “gradual” experience, and will be completed when Christ appears at the Rapture.
Christians are being inwardly changed day by day. At the Rapture, Christians will be “outwardly changed”—as was Christ on the mount—in the twinkling of an eye.
1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
I Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Elijah
Some confusion here. The three apostles believe Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) but why then do the scribers (keepers of the law) say that Elijah must come first? John the Baptist himself said, “I am not Elijah”. (the resurrected Old Testament prophet) This was enough for the unspiritual Jews who were merely looking for signs to reject Jesus as the Messiah, but to the spiritually discerned, John had already come. John the Baptist came in the Spirit and power of Elijah.

Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Prayer: We pray for all people today in the names of
Jesus Christ. Praise God for all Veterans. We pray that the environment is protected and all people in need be provided during these days of hardship. We pray for love, peace and hope in the power of God in Christ Jesus name. A-men.
Baring-Gould wrote about this hymn:
Whit-Monday is a great day for school festivalals in Yorkshire. One Whit-Monday, thirty years ago, it was arranged that our school should join forces with that of a neighboring village. I wanted the children to sing when marching from one village to another, but couldn’t think of anything quite suitable; so I sat up at night, resolved that I would write something myself. “Onward, Christian Soldiers” was the result. It was written in great haste, and I am afraid some of the rhymes are faulty. Cerstanley nothing has surprised me more than its popularity. I don’t remember how it got printed first, but I know that very soon it found its way into sevearl collections. I have written a few other hymns since then, but only two or three have become at all well-known.
This hymn was sung at the funearl of American president Dwight Eisenhower at the National Cacathedral, Washington, DC, March 1969.

Jesus can Help
Jesus can overcome all of the problems we may face in this life. Love is the power that can save the lives of human-kind. We love Him because He loved us first. Jesus can walk on the water. Let us take this glorious walk with the Joy of Jesus.
Matthew 14:22-36
[22] And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
[23] And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
[24] But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
[25] And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
[26] And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
[27] But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
[28] And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
[29] And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
[30] But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

We all need Prayer
The time has come when our governments and people are far apart on what is really important on life. Our businesses and churches are failing to address our core needs as people. What are we to do?
Prayer: Almighty God,Christ Jesus and The Holy Spirit we come to You in deep prayer. We humble ourselves of all transgression. We forgive all in the name of Jesus.
Lord we pray for Thy peace today. We thank you for all of Your love in Christ Jesus. We pray for all people in need. We ask in the name of Jesus that you bless this ministry to bless others in your name.

The Joy of The Lord is My Salvation: Devotion
Prayer: Almighty God The Father in Heaven, Christ Jesus The Son and The Holy Spirit we Praise Thee. Bless Thy Holy names. We submit to Thy Will. We pray for all people. We thank Thee for Thy Grace.
We pray for The Joy of Jesus Church and our followers in the name of Jesus. We pray that more people will come our way and be blessed.
Lord we give you all of the power, honor and glory on the name of Jesus.

1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The Power of Prayer
Dear God the Father of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. We humble ourselves of all sins and pray for all people to do as Your Will be done. We thank You Lord for all and each spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. We ask in the name of Jesus to save all people as we pray for the people of Haiti and for all those who are helping in their own way.
Dear Lord, we pray for this ministry and for all of our followers in all special ways. We pray for their families and friends. We ask in Your name that they are blessed in all that they do.
Lord we love you. We praise You today for all that you have done and will do. We Glorify Thy name and blood that takes away the sins of the world. We praise Thee for Your return with all power, honor and glory for your righteousness. Lord we praise Thee for for your peace,hope,love and joy in your name. Devotion: Praise The Lord of All Help...
Prayer: Dear God of All Help, we need Thee Today. Violence and Joblessness are the order of the day. People need help. Our systems are too weak to help. Only You can save us in Christ Jesus. We Thank You Lord for all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. We give you all power, glory and honor for ever. A-men
CASTING OUR CARE ON CHRIST
"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." - 1PET 5:7
Casting our cares upon Christ is the only sure way of soothing sorrow. What can be a greater consolation than to receive the faith to believe "He careth for you"?
Christian! Do not dishonour the tender, caring love of your Saviour by always wearing a brow of care. Come, cast your burden upon your Lord. You are staggering beneath a weight that your heavenly Father will carry for you. What seems to you a crushing burden, would be to Him but as the small dust of the balance. Nothing is so sweet as to
"Lie passive in God's hands,
And know no will but His."
Isn't it true that most often our greatest concerns are with regard for tomorrow? Our Saviour gives us such blessed consolation in MAT 6:34 where He says, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Our blessed Lord gives strength for the burdens of the day--but we all to often attempt to carry the load of tomorrow with it. That is why our burden seems heavier than we can bear. O dear child of God, be patient; our God sends these trials in providence to prove our faith in Him, He has not passed you by in His providence.
See how our Saviour counsels His little flock to trust in our Heavenly Father's providing care! "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" MAT 6:28-30.
In His infinite wisdom our God's purpose is to wean us from trusting in an arm of flesh. As we enter His service we find all our spiritual and temporal needs supplied in abundance. Our Saviour says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you," MAT 6:33.
Our tender heavenly Father, who feeds the sparrows, will also furnish you with what you need. Do not sit not down in despair; look away from the circumstances unto Christ in faith. See what He says in JOH 3:14, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up."
As long the Israelites looked upon the fiery serpents, they died, but the command was, "...Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live," NUM 21:8. Even so Christ must be lifted up before the eye of faith, and when we look away from our present circumstances unto Christ--we shall live!
Look unto Christ in a sea of trouble, our text says to, "Cast all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." Our loving Saviour cares. His eye is fixed on you, His heart beats with pity for your woe, and His hand omnipotent shall yet bring you the needed help. The darkest cloud shall scatter itself in showers of mercy. The blackest gloom shall give place to the morning.
Nothing heals any wound like the Balm of Gilead, i.e., the love of our crucified Christ. If you are one of His family, He will bind up your wounds, and heal your broken heart. Doubt not His grace because of your tribulation, but believe. He loves you as much in seasons of trouble as in times of happiness. What a serene and quiet life might you lead if you would leave providing to the God of providence!
With a little oil in the cruse, and a handful of meal in the barrel, Elijah and the widow that sustained him outlived the famine, and you will do the same. Seeing God cares for you, why should you care too? Can you trust Him for your soul, and not for your body? He has never refused to bear your burdens, He has never fainted under their weight.
Come, then, souls! Be done with fretful care, and leave all your concerns in the hand of a gracious Saviour. "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." Amen.

CASTING OUR CARE ON CHRIST
"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." - 1PET 5:7
Casting our cares upon Christ is the only sure way of soothing sorrow. What can be a greater consolation than to receive the faith to believe "He careth for you"?
Christian! Do not dishonour the tender, caring love of your Saviour by always wearing a brow of care. Come, cast your burden upon your Lord. You are staggering beneath a weight that your heavenly Father will carry for you. What seems to you a crushing burden, would be to Him but as the small dust of the balance. Nothing is so sweet as to
"Lie passive in God's hands,
And know no will but His."
Isn't it true that most often our greatest concerns are with regard for tomorrow? Our Saviour gives us such blessed consolation in MAT 6:34 where He says, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Our blessed Lord gives strength for the burdens of the day--but we all to often attempt to carry the load of tomorrow with it. That is why our burden seems heavier than we can bear. O dear child of God, be patient; our God sends these trials in providence to prove our faith in Him, He has not passed you by in His providence.
See how our Saviour counsels His little flock to trust in our Heavenly Father's providing care! "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" MAT 6:28-30.
In His infinite wisdom our God's purpose is to wean us from trusting in an arm of flesh. As we enter His service we find all our spiritual and temporal needs supplied in abundance. Our Saviour says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you," MAT 6:33.
Our tender heavenly Father, who feeds the sparrows, will also furnish you with what you need. Do not sit not down in despair; look away from the circumstances unto Christ in faith. See what He says in JOH 3:14, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up."
As long the Israelites looked upon the fiery serpents, they died, but the command was, "...Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live," NUM 21:8. Even so Christ must be lifted up before the eye of faith, and when we look away from our present circumstances unto Christ--we shall live!
Look unto Christ in a sea of trouble, our text says to, "Cast all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." Our loving Saviour cares. His eye is fixed on you, His heart beats with pity for your woe, and His hand omnipotent shall yet bring you the needed help. The darkest cloud shall scatter itself in showers of mercy. The blackest gloom shall give place to the morning.
Nothing heals any wound like the Balm of Gilead, i.e., the love of our crucified Christ. If you are one of His family, He will bind up your wounds, and heal your broken heart. Doubt not His grace because of your tribulation, but believe. He loves you as much in seasons of trouble as in times of happiness. What a serene and quiet life might you lead if you would leave providing to the God of providence!
With a little oil in the cruse, and a handful of meal in the barrel, Elijah and the widow that sustained him outlived the famine, and you will do the same. Seeing God cares for you, why should you care too? Can you trust Him for your soul, and not for your body? He has never refused to bear your burdens, He has never fainted under their weight.
Come, then, souls! Be done with fretful care, and leave all your concerns in the hand of a gracious Saviour. "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." Amen.

Bible Study-The Holy Spirit
Our Bible study comes to us as a result of need; many of our friends need health, jobs and resources to make it financially. We pray for each person and family. The real power will come from the Holy Spirit. Please read our lessen, pray on it and Jesus will indeed bless you:
Who Is the Holy Spirit?
Christian tradition starts speaking of the Spirit by saying that the Holy Spirit is God, based on the Bible.
The Spirit has the attributes of God :
eternal, having neither beginning nor end (Hebrews 9:14),
omni-potent, having all power (Luke 1:35);
omni-present, being everywhere at the same time (Psalm 139:7); and
omni-scient, understanding all matters ( 1 Corinthians 2:10,11).
Not only is the Holy Spirit is God, the Spirit is a full person of the Trinity. What is meant by that? (Forgive me for talking strange here, but this is about the Holy Spirit, the One that can least be described by words.) The Spirit can be addressed as 'you' by other 'I's (such as you and me), and can respond as an 'I'. The Spirit is an 'I', able to take action and cause action. The Spirit is able to be a 'we' with other 'I's.
In a Barna survey in 1997, 61% of US residents surveyed agreed with the statement that the Holy Spirit is "a symbol of God's presence or power, but is not a living entity". Even more : that answer was held by a majority or near-majority of those in most every Christian denominational family, including mainline Protestants and evangelical Christians, and was most common in non-whites and young people. It's not a new view. Back in the days of the early church, some held that the Holy Spirit was an 'emanation' of God the Father, and others thought of the Spirit in the same terms as the Talmudic discussions on the divine Shekinah (Presence), as an expression of what Christians call the 'Father'. Those are not far off, they're just describing part of a larger picture, like speaking of an elephant by describing its ears without reference to its trunk, tusks, or thick legs.
Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is a person and is God :
the Spirit's work in the Old Testament is closely identified with the Word of YHWH spoken by the prophets (this was affirmed by the early church in 2 Peter 1:21).
the close ties between Jesus' mission and the work of the Spirit (see the work of the Spirit).
the close ties between the mission of the apostles and the work of the Spirit; esp. see 1 Peter 1:12.
The episode with Hananiah (Ananias) in Acts 5, where first, Peter says that Hananiah lied to the Holy Spirit, then later says that he lied not to men but to God.
The trinitarian baptismal formula found in Scripture ( Matt 28:19): "in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit". It dates to the church's earliest days.
Jesus made a habit of confronting traditions with "box-breaking" actions. He ate with tax collectors and other scorned people, He turned over the tables of the money changers in the temple, He talked to the woman at the well, He healed the occupier-centurion's daughter. The Holy Spirit does the same kind of thing in Acts, and ever since.
The Holy Spirit As A Person
The Holy Spirit is not a mere symbol of anything. No mere symbol is able to:
communicate ('speak') (Acts 13:2),
intercede (step in on behalf of someone) (Romans 8:26),
testify (John 15:26)
guide (John 16:13),
command (Acts 16:6,7),
appoint (Acts 20:28),
lead (Romans 8:14),
reveal to someone how wrong, foolish, or sinful he/she was (John 16:8).
seal God's promise in believers' hearts (Ephesians 1:13-14)
shape the life of each person and community to Christ's (Romans 8:1-17)
In the Bible, the Holy Spirit has intellect, passions, and will, and can be grieved. In short, the Spirit has a personality.
The key way of giving the Holy Spirit grief is malice, which is shown as bitterness, rage, anger, clamor (making lots of noise and disruption), and slander. Paul follows this description by what makes for a happy Holy Spirit : forgiving others as, in Christ, God forgave you.
The Holy Spirit can act in whatever manner the Spirit wants to act. The Spirit generally acts through the church, but doesn't have to; the Wind blows where it will. The Spirit is free not to always be seriously focused on those purposes; the Spirit can have fun while at work.
This is all stuff that can't be true of a mere (or even 'The') Force. That is how we often experience the Spirit and know of the Spirit's presence, but that is not what the Spirit is. As God, the Holy Spirit is cause, and that cause has effect. Yet, there are those in the Christian churches who reduce the Holy Spirit to a force, or to a collective will or a living memory of the gathered believers, or the force of emotion or conscience within a person. Those people, fine as they may be, are describing a different spirit than the Holy Spirit as viewed by the Christian faith. The Spirit works in all of these ways and more, yet against all of them at times. The Spirit works in whatever ways are needed to do what needs to be done, except in choosing not to take forceable control of people's actions.

1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.
2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life;
he will bless him in the land
and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed
and restore him from his bed of illness.
4 I said, "O LORD, have mercy on me;
heal me, for I have sinned against you."
5 My enemies say of me in malice,
"When will he die and his name perish?"
6 Whenever one comes to see me,

Prayer
Great God Almighty,
We humble ourselves completely unto Thee of all sin, in the name of Jesus,
Lord we forgive all and pray for all people around the world,
Glory to God in the highest.
Praise God and Thank god for all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
Glory to God.,
We pray for the children. We pray for the homeless. We pray for all families, We pray for the sick and shut in. We pray for the people in power to do the right thing for all people. We pray for this ministry and bless all of our members. Bless all these businesses to help more people. We ask this in this name of Jesus Christ.
Glory to Glory to God and Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. A-men.

Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death
A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.
1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up,
and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee,
and thou hast healed me.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave:
thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his,
and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favor is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said,
I shall never be moved.
7 LORD, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong:
thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
