Fearless

I RELEASE MY FEAR AND ACTIVATE MY FAITH.
Fear is the opposite of faith. While fear may sometimes strike, I do not let it control me; instead, I activate my faith. I am strong; I am confident; I am fearless, because I have faith in the powerful love of God.
Anytime I face a situation that may cause anxiety or uneasiness, I pray. Praying helps me release my fears and open to the love of God. Praying calms my mind, soothes my emotions, and frees my spirit to accept the good that is mine to receive. I cannot be afraid when I am filled with the love of God.
God’s all-providing love surrounds me and each person for whom I pray. Where there is faith, there is no room for fear. In God’s love, I am faith-filled. I am fearless!

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption.—Romans 8:15

Stillness - Wednesday, July 16, 2014 | Daily Word

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.
Be still, my child, and know that I am God. I am within you, your life, your intelligence, the very breath of your being. My protecting mantle of love infolds you, and you need have no fear, for I am your eternal and everlasting refuge.
If the flood waters of fear and doubt sweep over your being and you cannot seem to gain a foothold or keep afloat, remember that in the midst of you is an ark of healing silence. Stop struggling, resisting, and fighting; surrender to the stillness of this inner sanctuary. The flood waters will recede, and the dry land (your good) will appear.
In every situation be relaxed and poised in mind and body. Be still and know that I am God. I, within you, am the God with whom all things are possible. I, within you, am the same Spirit that resurrected Jesus. No matter what your needs may be, I am what you seek.

Be still, and know that I am God.—Psalm 46:10

Pray for Others - Tuesday, July 15, 2014 | Daily Word

Pray for Others

I AFFIRM THAT EVERY NEED IS MET.
I celebrate each individual for whom I pray as a unique expression of the Divine, a spiritual being having a human experience. I realize that any condition they face is temporary. No matter the challenge, Spirit is there, providing love and guidance. The Divine powers of love, strength, and faith support them. I affirm that, beyond any earthly appearances, a greater reality and a broader Truth prevail: God is—and all is well.
As I hold my friends and family in prayer, I see each person claiming their birthright of peace, health, and prosperity. I affirm that there is only One Power and One Presence—God the Good. My heart is filled with gratitude and thanksgiving.

Since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will.—Colossians 1:9

Service - Monday, July 14, 2014 | Daily Word

I SERVE GOD THROUGH SERVING OTHERS.
To serve means to be in service to others and to render faithfulness to God. Each person who serves becomes an instrument through which the goodness of God flows out into the world.
I am willing to be of assistance, and I ask Spirit to help me recognize the right opportunities. As I join with others in service, I offer what I have with joy and enthusiasm. I give of my time and attention, my skills and expertise, my love and compassion to make a difference in the lives of others.
Service requires that I extend myself to benefit someone else. In making this choice, I discover the joy of generosity. As I serve others, all of our lives are enriched.

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.—Matthew 25:40

Prosperity

THE SPIRITUAL ETHERS ARE FILLED WITH PLENTY. I AM PROSPEROUS!
In one of his early lesson series, Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore introduced a set of affirmations to be repeated daily in the Silence: The spiritual ethers are filled with plenty; prosperity fills the air, and I have abundance for every need!
Following Fillmore’s example, I repeat these affirmations three times, unifying myself with the manifesting power of the Divine within. I then turn my attention inward and silently let the prayer permeate my consciousness and transform any thoughts of lack.
As affirmations of plenty inhabit the deepest part of me, I attract and embrace bountiful blessings. I draw forth from the ethers prosperity that fills my life!

I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied.—Philippians 4:18

Victorious

GOD IS MY STRENGTH; I AM VICTORIOUS.
Many athletes succeed because, along with consistent practice, they picture themselves performing to the best of their ability. They visualize crossing the finish line, hitting a home run, or scoring the game-winning point.
When I have a weighty task before me, I picture myself completing it successfully. My practice sessions include prayer and meditation as I tap into the unlimited power, strength, and wisdom of God within.
Athletes are victorious because they give it their all. As I reach for my goals, I pursue them with perseverance and optimism. I visualize success, stay attuned to Source, and I am victorious!

Do not fear, for I am with you … I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.—Isaiah 41:10
