WHATEVER THE QUESTION, LOVE IS MY ANSWER.
From time to time, I may encounter difficulty in my relationships. If I consider another person a problem in my life, I have the opportunity to change that perception. Love is the law and the fulfillment of law. God is love, and love is the answer to all discord and disappointment.
I put aside any doubts, fears or judgments about others. Even if the choice feels difficult, I choose love. God always meets me more than halfway, giving me the courage and strength to live with an open heart.
Whenever there is a call for love, I answer with loving-kindness. As love flows from me, the energy of love surrounds me and others. I am filled with abundant life and joy when I love unconditionally.
He said to him, “You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live.”—Luke 10:28

Prosperity
THROUGH MY CONNECTION WITH GOD, ALL MY NEEDS ARE ABUNDANTLY MET.
Signs of prosperity abound—trees full with fruit, countless stars shining in the sky, myriad wildflowers carpeting roadside fields. I can choose to notice and appreciate these signs of abundance or I can seek and find evidence of lack.
If I allow my mind to dwell on thoughts of limitation, I invite feelings of deprivation. Instead, I fill my mind with the awareness of God’s presence, and I focus on abundant good. I think about the people I have loved, the kindnesses I have received, and the opportunities I have been given. The more I think about how prosperous I am, the more prosperous I feel. The more prosperous I feel, the more willing I am to claim the prosperity that is mine by divine birthright.
For to those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance.—Matthew 13:12

Joy - Sunday, July 29, 2012 | Daily Word

Joy
THE CHRIST LIGHT FILLS MY HEART WITH JOY.
When my joy emanates from the Christ within, it is unwavering and infused with wondrous power. The Christ Light—the Spirit of joy enthroned in my heart—brings eternal joy and happiness. It radiates from the center of my being to the very circumference of my world. Outer conditions do not affect such joy, for it has its foundation and substance in God.
Joy welling up from my heart quickens my mind, animates my body, and shines its rays of gladness into my environment. Joy produces order and satisfaction in my life.
I keep my Christ Light shining by using it, by daily drawing more of its essence from God within, and by letting it shine into the world to bless others. The joy of Christ is mine now and always.
You will have joy and gladness.—Luke 1:14

We need You

Have you ever come to a point in your life when you were truly need? There was a man who wanted to be blessed. However, he needed to be carried to the pool of blessings because he could not walk. Jesus heard his cry. The man only wanted to be helped. But Jesus simply told him to get-up and walk.

Often people want and need certain things in life, that may be the wrong thing all together. We may want a job but may really need a business. We may ask for money budget.

Jesus knows what we need. He will give us so much more. Jesus gave His life on the cross for our betterment. God raised Jesus from the grave. Jesus will return to set all things right. We must have faith in Jesus. We must continue to support The Joy of Jesus. It is our prayer that you would indeed pray for us as we pray for and the world in Jesus Name....

I AM ONE WITH GOD, AND I AM FREE!
A skein of geese gliding against a clear blue sky is a simple image of freedom. Their V-shaped formation points to their destination. How often do I yearn for that same sense of freedom?
In Truth, I am free. I may not physically fly above the trees, but I have the freedom of Spirit that allows me to choose my path. I can focus on where I have been, where I am, or where I want to go. I can hold on to fearful thoughts or open my mind to unlimited possibilities.
I choose to allow the spirit of God within to guide me to greater freedom than I can imagine. I am free to live, learn and enjoy all the wonders of this life. I am one with God—no greater freedom exists.
For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm … do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Pray for Others - Friday, July 27, 2012 | Daily Word

Pray for Others
OUR PRAYERS HAVE POWER.
When I pray affirmatively, I create a sacred and powerful prayer consciousness. In this awareness, I stand in the Truth of my Being. I acknowledge the impact prayer has on my body, mind and soul. I witness the power of prayer in my life.
I then open my heart to pray for others. I hold humankind in my heart, for we are one. Each person is my brother, sister, a loved one. Prayer unites us in sacred communion with God and one another.
Prayer consciousness spans the globe, and our prayers are powerful. We pray for peace, wholeness and love. We share prayers of thanksgiving and 123456789-affirmations of Truth, and lives are transformed.
Brothers and sisters, pray for us, so that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified everywhere, just as it is among you.—2 Thessalonians 3:1

Inner Peace - Thursday, July 26, 2012 | Daily Word

Inner Peace
I AM IN HARMONY WITH THE SERENITY IN MY SOUL.
Good communication is vital in any relationship; however, with the abundance of media channels available these days, I could easily find myself in “communication overload” with little time for contemplation and silence.
To release any overwhelming feelings and reconnect with my spiritual nature, I take time to attune to the peace of God that is always within me. Several times a day, I take a break to become still and get in touch with the peace of my soul. A wonderful feeling of relaxation flows through my body as I silently rest in the presence of absolute peace.
This blessed awareness of inner peace stays with me as I move throughout my day. I am refreshed and ready for what is mine to do.
My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.—Exodus 33:14

Love Overflowing - Wednesday, July 25, 2012 | Daily WordLove Overflowing
GOD’S LOVE FILLS ME AND OVERFLOWS FROM ME.
I spend this day in appreciation of God’s infinite love, freely given and gratefully received. As I share kindness and compassion with others, I am an instrument of Divine Love.
Divine Love expresses through me as not only love for family and friends, but also love for those more challenging. Every person is a spiritual being deserving of love and kindness.
God’s love is unconditional, without judgment or expectations. As I allow this love to fill my heart, I also relinquish judgment. I embrace unconditional love that heals all hurt. As I share the love of God, I give and receive the greatest gift of all.
This is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight.—Philippians 1:9

Empowerment
I CHOOSE WORDS THAT EMPOWER.
If I am worried about future circumstances or doubting my present good, I recognize that I am responsible for the thoughts I hold and the words I speak.
Is my self-talk negative or worrisome, or uplifting and empowering? Am I steadfast in honoring the presence of God within or is my faith wavering? The choice is mine. I direct the power of my thoughts and words.
I consciously choose to think and speak uplifting words of Truth and gratitude to myself and others. As I do, my concerns dissipate and my faith is strengthened.
I shift my consciousness and empower myself and others as I radiate hope and inspiration.
On the day I called, you answered me, you increased my strength of soul.—Psalm 138:3

Faith
MY FAITH WORKS AT ALL TIMES FOR MY HIGHEST GOOD.
Charles Fillmore once wrote, “Faith in the reality, power and willingness of the mental and spiritual forces is absolutely necessary to one who expects to succeed in demonstrating the higher law.”
I have faith in my God-given abilities, which cause the very power of God to work in and through me. I have faith that with God, I can accomplish whatever I undertake.
My faith works! When I remember that the power of God is at work within me, I can do anything. I do not block the power of God working in and through me in any way.
Faith is an action. Having faith makes me more optimistic, healthier and more prosperous. My faith opens the way to realizing my highest good.
Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.—James 2:18

Forgive
I FORGIVE AS I GROW IN LOVE AND COMPASSION.
As part of its growth, the locust sheds its old skin, releasing it to enter a new phase of life. In the same way, some of my old beliefs may limit me, like a skin grown too tight. If I believe others have kept me from God’s good, it may be time to release these old beliefs and forgive.
The spirit of God fills me with unconditional love as I let go of thoughts of anger or hurt which no longer serve me. God loves me, protects me and provides for my every need. Nothing can change this eternal love.
I accept the grace of forgiveness and forgive myself and all others. I grow in love and compassion as I move forward on my spiritual journey.

Comfort
THANK YOU, GOD, FOR YOUR ABIDING LOVE.
When change happens suddenly or dramatically, I remind myself that I am never alone—the love of God is with me and within me. While the circumstances of life are transitory, God’s love is eternal and enduring.
As I give myself time to adapt to changes in the outer world, I enter into a holy time of inner reflection. I feel the strength and love of God supporting me. I experience God’s love in the midst of challenging circumstances. God is my source of strength, peace and wisdom.
Through times of change and all of life, I am comforted and sustained by the love of God within.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change.–Psalm 46:2

Abide With Me

Our Daily Bread Radio is hosted by Les Lamborn
One of the highlights of English football (soccer) each year is the final match of the annual FA Cup Final. For more than a hundred years, the day has been marked by excitement, festivity, and competition. But what fascinates me is how the game begins. It starts with the singing of the traditional hymn “Abide With Me.”
At first that struck me as odd. What does that hymn have to do with football? As I thought about it, though, I realized that for the follower of Christ it has everything to do with sports, shopping, working, going to school, or anything else we do. Since there is no corner of our lives that should not be affected by the presence of God, the longing that He would abide with us is actually the most reasonable thing we could desire. Of course, the presence of our heavenly Father is not something we need to plead for—it is promised to us. In Hebrews 13:5, we read, “For [God] Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”
Not only is God’s presence the key to our contentment, but it is also the promise that can give us wisdom, peace, comfort, and strength—no matter where we are or what we are doing.
Thank You, Lord, for walking with us every day.
You are our guardian, friend, and guide.
May we sense Your loving presence and always
know that You are close by our side. Amen.
Our greatest privilege is to enjoy Christ’s presence.

Mass Violence and The Answer

As I began my daily devotion , I was struck by a mass killing at a movie theater. Nearly 71 people were shot and 12 died, as a result of a killer gone off. What are we to do or think as Christians today?

It is always disheartening to learn of people being hurt or killed by weapons. There were mainly young-people with so much ahead of them but for not. The real question is why did this happen?

The notion that everything is fine and safe today is so miss-leading. People are so afraid to go outside. The Christian is a rare person in a world of utter confusion. We need to step up our prayer game. God is listening to the faithful.

We pray for peace. We pray for all the families involved. God bless them all. The only answer to these and many other conflicts is the day in which Jesus returns to set all thins right. We continue to pray for all that Jesus did on the cross for the sins of the world. Have Mercy on us all.

World Peace
I AFFIRM PEACE ON PLANET EARTH.
What a beautiful, diverse planet this is! From dense rainforest to neatly mown lawns; from microscopic insects to enormous mammals; from deep-swimming sea life to high-flying birds—each exemplifies the creative energy of God.
Divine creativity is also within me and within all humanity, and I celebrate each unique contribution. Just as diverse wildlife co-exists naturally, so can human beings from all walks of life. I affirm balance and peace on planet Earth as we celebrate our diversity.
When differences arise, I look for what I might learn from others. I honor our diversity, knowing God is the underlying energy out of which all creation arises.
The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.—Psalm 24:1

Blunders To Wonders

Our Daily Bread Radio is hosted by Les Lamborn
Artist James Hubbell says, “Mistakes are gifts.” Whenever he’s working on a project and something goes wrong, he doesn’t start over. He looks for a way to use the mistake to make something better. None of us can avoid making blunders, and all of us have favorite ways of dealing with them. We may try to hide them or to correct them or to apologize for them.
We do that with our sin sometimes too. But God doesn’t throw us away and start over. He redeems us and makes us better.
The apostle Peter tended to do and say whatever seemed best at the moment. He has been referred to as an “impetuous blunderer.” In his fear after Jesus was arrested, Peter claimed three times that he didn’t know Jesus! Yet later, on the basis of Peter’s three declarations of love, Jesus turned Peter’s humiliating denial into a wonderful occasion of restoration (John 21). Despite Peter’s flawed past, Jesus restored him to ministry with these words: “Feed My sheep” (v.17).
If you have made a “blunder” so big that it seems irreversible, the most important matter is whether you love Jesus. When we love Him, Jesus can turn our most serious blunders into awesome wonders.
Lord, I’m so human and make foolish mistakes.
And worse yet, I willfully sin against You.
Please forgive me, change me, restore me,
and use me for Your name’s sake. Amen.
God can change our blunders into wonders

Worry-Free
LIFE WORKS BETTER WHEN I WORRY LESS AND PRAY MORE.
One of the quickest ways to sap my vitality is to keep fretting over a prickly situation. Hanging my head in despair will not solve anything; it just leaves me feeling more stressed.
Life works better when I choose to worry less and pray more. I don’t pretend a challenge doesn’t exist—I simply stay open to possible solutions. When I pray, I redirect my focus from the difficulty to the possibility. I turn to my inner wisdom for a divine solution.
I embrace the Truth that I am wise, capable, spiritually equipped and divinely supported at all times. With this prayer-soaked consciousness, I experience results that unfold perfectly for me and all concerned.
Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?—Luke 12:25

Grace - Wednesday, July 18, 2012 | Daily Word: "Grace
I MOVE WITH EASE AND GRACE THROUGH MY LIFE.
What makes a swan gliding across a lake the picture of grace? Is it the beauty it so generously shares? Is it the quiet movement that does not disturb the water yet propels the swan to reach the distant shore?

I am that swan when I center my thoughts on the Christ of my being and surrender to the gentle power of Spirit. I give from the beauty of love and wisdom within me as I speak words of encouragement or reach out to another in compassion.

Centered in peace, I am undisturbed by any outer appearance of seeming disorder. I remain at peace as I take a cleansing breath. Whatever arises, I move through it with ease and grace.

We were gentle among you, like a nurse tenderly caring for her own children.—1 Thessalonians 2:7"

Clarity - in The Joy of Jesus Today

Clarity - Tuesday, July 17, 2012 | Daily Word

Clarity
I AM CENTERED IN GOD AND MAINTAIN A CLEAR VISION.
When I clean a window or mirror, I am instantly amazed at how clear my view becomes. The same principle applies when I remove obstacles in my mind. If I am unable to see my way through troubling circumstances, my perspective may be clouded by uncertainty, negativity or self-doubt. As I remove these obstacles, my vision clears, and I more readily see the truth of the situation.
To achieve clarity of thought, I relax into the presence of God in prayer. I release fear and doubt and open my heart and mind to Divine Mind. Centered in God within, I make decisions more easily and confidently. I maintain a clear vision.
Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.—Mark 8:25

Kindness
I AM LOVING AND GENEROUS, HELPFUL AND CONSIDERATE.
God is love, and I am a creation of that love. Through kind words and deeds, I give to others from the love of God within.
Love motivates my actions toward others. I ask myself, What is the kind thing to do? Kindness creates a heart-to-heart connection with others. The power of kindness is an extraordinary power for good. My words and tone convey encouragement, support, inspiration and comfort. As I tap into my innate sacredness, I am guided by love and take part in the flow of unlimited blessings.
Abiding in the consciousness of divine love, I am ready to let it fully express through me.

Healing - Sunday, July 15, 2012 | Daily

Healing
I AM ONE WITH THE ENERGIZING LIFE OF GOD.
In this moment, I pause to focus on the healing presence of God within. I relax in body and mind. With each calming breath, I feel tension subside and concerns drift away. I release any thoughts of illness or fear, denying them power over me. In their place, I affirm the flow of divine life, cleansing, renewing and healing me.
I am one with the very life and substance of God. With this realization, I relax even more deeply and allow my whole being to rest in the healing peace that is within.
From this moment, I go forth with new life, energy, faith and gratitude. I give thanks for renewal, healing, peace and the restoring activity of divine life flowing through me.
Peace, peace, to the far and the near, says the Lord; and I will heal them.—Isaiah 57:19

Opening Our Homes

Our Daily Bread Radio is hosted by Les Lamborn
In Outlive Your Life, Max Lucado writes: “Hospitality opens the door to uncommon community. It’s no accident that hospitalityand hospital come from the same Latin word, for they both lead to the same result: healing. When you open your door to someone, you are sending this message: ‘You matter to me and to God.’ You may think you are saying, ‘Come over for a visit.’ But what your guest hears is, ‘I’m worth the effort.’”
This is what the apostle Paul must have heard and felt when Aquila and Priscilla opened the doors of their home to him. When he arrived in Corinth, he was probably exhausted from his journey from Athens. He may also have been discouraged because of his seemingly unsuccessful ministry there (Acts 17:16-34). He later wrote, “I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling” (1 Cor. 2:3). Aquila and Priscilla probably met Paul in the marketplace of Corinth and opened their home to him. They provided a spiritual oasis through Christian hospitality.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be hospitable, to be a “hospital” that helps those who are going through life’s storms and need restoration. We can be used by the Lord because He has provided for us.
Heavenly Father, make me open to be willing to serve
others through showing hospitality.
May I provide a safe haven for those going through
the storms of life. Amen.
Christian hospitality is an open heart and an open home.

WITH CHILDLIKE JOY, I EXPERIENCE THE WONDER OF GOD EACH DAY.
Children’s stories are filled with wonder, excitement and unlimited possibilities. In these tales, I can travel to distant lands, become an inventor who makes the world a better place, or turn into a superhero who saves others. As I think of stories from my childhood, I am reminded of the wonder-filled part of me—the part of me that believes in unlimited possibilities.
I can keep that childlike sense of awe by simply choosing to do so. I can look with wonder at the world around me. I can choose to wake up each morning with a positive outlook and an expectant attitude. I can choose to see the beauty in every face, every aspect of nature, every goal and dream. As I nurture this sense of wonder in each thought and action, my life is transformed.
You are the God who works wonders.—Psalm 77:14

Renewal
MY ENTIRE BEING IS RENEWED WHEN I OPEN TO DIVINE IDEAS.
Familiar patterns of thinking, like favorite old shoes, are comfortable and easy to slip into. Yet if they no longer fit, they need to be released.
If I notice familiar thought patterns of judgment or worry, I can release them as easily as I release outworn shoes. They may have served me in the past, but now I am ready to move on. I let them go and prepare for a new way of thinking and being.
As I release negative thought patterns, I embrace divine ideas of light, love, life and peace. My mind and heart fill with gratitude for the many ways God blesses me, and my life is renewed.
You were taught … to be renewed in the spirit of your minds and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God.—Ephesians 4:22-24
